• Day to day coordination and regular inspection activities along with Projects consultants and Inspection authorities as per QAP and ITP.
• Incoming material inspection for Pipe, Fittings, Fasteners, Gaskets, Valves, etc.
• Responsible for spool marking and Weld marking.
• Witness the Fit up and Alignment.
• Welder Performance Qualification (WPQ) and Welding Procedure Qualification Witness Inspection
• Monitoring welding activities before, during and after.
• Routine monitoring at welding consumable stores and checking and ensuring proper issuance of welding materials.
• Monitoring the Oxygen percentage for DSS and SDSS welding as per approved WPS.
• Check the Inter pass temperature LTCS, DSS & SDSS as per Approved WPS.
• Witness the Joint repair and NDT activities.
• Verification of Dimensions as per Approved Drawing and Latest Revision.
• Releasing the Fabricated spools for Painting, Coating and Field Weld.
• Interpretation of Radiography films and reviews the NDT Reports as per approved Procedure and Technique Sheet.
• Monitoring and Witnessing ongoing Site and Fabrication shop and NDT activities Like PT, MPI, Hardness and PMI etc.
• Line walk inspection of completed flow lines/piping as per PEFS/Drawings.
• Piping Test Package Punch Listing and Punch List Verification Inspection.
• Raise Non-Compliance reports wherever applicable and ensure satisfactory close out.
• Witness pigging, gauging of pipelines before pressure testing.
• Verify the calibration of pressure gauge, relief valve, testing manifold, chart recorder (Pressure/temperature)
• Witnessing Hydro test, Draining and Drying.
• Closely Monitoring the Welders Individual Performance. Strictly implementing the WPS & PQR Instructions and maintaining parameters. Monitoring and Controlling the Repair percentage of each welder.
• Inspection and Monitoring of Pre-and Post-Weld Heat Treatment of Alloy Steels.
• Witnessing the torquing and Tensioning for the Flange Joints.
Job Responsibilities:
Verify and Compile Daily Weld Production Report & NDT Report.
All Workshop Fabrication and Welding Activities to be monitor and Inspect.
Electrode Control and Register to be monitored.
Witness all hydro test activities carrying out at Workshop.
Witness welder Qualification test.
Carry out material Inspection before issuing for fabrication.
Raising NDT request as per requirement.
Prepare test pack after completion of fabrication and NDT.
Inspection of cold bend pipe to be done.
Weld repair status to be updated on daily basis. Review of contractors WPS, PQR, WPQR
Knowledge in various types of welding processes like GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW, SAW welding.
Material control and trace ability competence. Piping/Plates/Structural Material verification.
Ability to prepare & Review Test Packages, NDE & Test Package coordination, P&ID Test Limits and marked up in isometric drawings.
Perform daily ongoing surveillance, inspection & monitoring of contractors site & shop activities such as Fabrication, Welding, in accordance with the project/contractor’s specifications, codes, I&TP and Quality Plans.
Repair follow-up, Conforming line check as per P&ID, NDT clearance, Punch List preparation, follow up of final completion.

Preparation for Welder qualification test as per ASME-IX and API-1104.

Reviewing the supplier's NDT procedures, Hydro static test, as per code and project specification.
Sound knowledge in welding engineering using different welding techniques according to international codes and standards used in oil& gas industry for tip side & subsea facilities.
Familiar with critical factors affecting different types of welding & testing related problems for upstream facilities including pipeline, piping, topside & subsea assets facilities in sea water, sweet & sour oil & gas service.
Knowledgeable in all related NDT techniques.
Sound understanding in reviewing radiography films, reports, PWHT Charts etc.
Inspection of Hold/Witness/Review/Surveillance points assigned as per ITP for the fabrication of structures, piping, equipment installation, painting executed by the Contractors, as a Client / Main Contractor’s inspector Sign off inspection, NDE reports upon satisfactory completion.
Knowledge in various types of welding processes like GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, and GMAW, SAW welding.
Conversant with international codes and standards such as ASME II, ASME V, ASME VIII, ASME IX, ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, AWS D1.1, API 1104
Perform daily ongoing surveillance, inspection & monitoring of contractors site & shop activities such as Fabrication, Welding, in accordance with the project/contractor’s specifications, codes, I&TP and Quality Plans.
Ability to read like Piping Isometric, P&ID, and Structural Drawings.

Inspection for hydro / pneumatic testing, dewatering, flushing and cleaning activities.
Coordination with contractor, client and inspection agencies when requires.
Repair follow-up, Conforming line check as per P&ID, NDT clearance, Punch List preparation, follow up of final completion.
Job Responsibility:
Material inspection - verifying the material traceability, checking color coding, test certificates, and physical conditions.
Verifying fabrication and erection of pipe spools as per isometric drawing.
Receiving / checked incoming materials as per delivery notes. Checking the materials prior to release / issue for fabrication.
Control of quality for piping fabrication such as fit-up, visual and dimensional inspection conforming to approved for construction drawings.
Responsible for inspection of pipe spools for shop and fabrication such as fit-up, dimensional and visual inspection.
Prepare Request for Inspection(RFI) to Project Management Team(PMT) and Project Inspection Division through Quality Management Information system(QMIS)
Reviewing and verified the all Hydro test packages and hand over to client.
