• Assisting Sr. dietitian in new menu plans, updating and analyzing nutrient content
• Communicate and assist with Sr. Dietitian and head chef, update HF menu plans per season to provide customer variety.
• Assisting Sr. Dietitian in revising health factory plans and preparing new portioning tables for both hot and cold kitchens
• Handle customers calling over the phone with dietetic counseling and caloric requirement calculation.
• Communicate with agents concerning their client requirements and new menus and products updates.
• The Company product promotion in road shows, exhibitions, conferences, and events.
• Translating Menus in Arabic and checking the existing menus.
• Going to events and allowing people to be more aware of healthy eating and diet (ppt. presentations, screening...)
•Nutritional assessment of patients using medical nutrition therapy
•Planning individual meals for each patient
•Helping patients reach realistic goals
•Educating and advising a wide range of patients with diet-related disorders on the practical ways in which they can improve their health by adopting healthier eating habits;
•Calculating patients' nutritional requirements using standard equations based on assessments of blood chemistry, temperature, stress, mobility and other relevant factors;
•Analysing the nutritional content of food in the kitchen
•Advising the hospital's catering departments about the specific dietary requirements of patients;
•Helping at the dietitian's clinic in hospital outpatients departments or general practitioners' (GP) surgeries for patients who have been referred by hospital consultants
•Writing reports and case notes and maintaining accurate records;
*Checks taste, temperature and display of food prior to serving
*Make regular rounds in dry storage areas, freezers, refrigerators and food preparation areas. Ensure proper sanitation, cleanliness and reports to dietitian in charge and company food catering supervisor.
*Ensure that set standards on personnel hygiene are applied which includes self- cleanliness and clean clothing
*Maintain and improve standard of sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils and premises
*Eight month free internship at Bahman Hospital as a Clinical Dietitian. *One month internship at USM catering company * First- aid certificate from Lebanese Red Cross.
