Highways Design Engineer
Tasks
• Design horizontal and vertical road alignment (major roads, interchanges and local roads) using autocad and microstation according to the standards.
• Design road profiles using Autodesk civil 3D.
• Design Roundabouts by grading on Autodesk civil 3D.
• Site grading using Autodesk civil 3D.
• Validate parking design using autoturn.
• Design Highway roads signage/ gantry signs as per Dubai standards.
• Addressing RFIs from site and proposing alternative solutions if required.
• Prepare cross sections for major highways.
• Prepare cut/fill pavement, footpath quantities using Autodesk civil 3D.
• Prepare setting out tables for road alignment using MX roads.
• Attend Bid openings to major projects at RTA (Roads and Transportation Authority).
• Prepare bid proposals as per the RFP.

Draw water, drainage, mechanical, gas and etisalat plans using autocad according to the municipality of sharjah requirements.
