This is my current work for The Emirates National School as an Arabic Coordinator and Teacher.
• Develop and implement the Arabic department improvement plan, working in conjunction with the school’s strategic plan
• Demonstrate outstanding teaching skills which lead to excellent results and outcomes
• Demonstrate excellent and innovative pedagogical practice, including the use of educational technology
• Lead self-evaluation and prepare for KHDA school inspection in accordance with inspection criteria and follow through with an action plan
• Manage and develop the skills of Arabic Teachers and Teaching Assistants in accordance with school’s continual professional development policy to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
• Review and manage the Arabic curriculum across the Early Years, Primary and Secondary sections of the school
• Carry out data analysis and chart student progress in line with school policy
• Create and generate new solutions and teaching methodologies that fulfill the needs and skill-levels of students
• Coach and mentor Arabic Teachers and Teaching Assistants, providing constructive advice and feedback
• Appraise Arabic Teachers and Teaching Assistants in accordance with the school’s appraisal policy
• Assist in selecting and recruiting Arabic Teachers and assistants
I got this great opportunity to work for Emirates University in Al Ain - U.A.E to be part of their team in delivering Arabic Training for students as well as university staff.
• Implemented lesson plans, while ensuring the integrity of academic time and in a manner which motivates students to learn and participate
• Developed and maintained the physical environment of the classroom that is conducive to effective learning within the limits of resources provided by the system
