Application Processing and Workflow
• Overseeing the daily delivery and scanning in of visa applications from the CP. Reconciling the number of applications received against the CP manifest accurately. Ensuring that scanning and checking of each delivery to be completed within 2 hours its arrival.
• Uploading the visa applications to the Proviso system and checking data input for accuracy. Amending records as required ensuring 100% accuracy is achieved. Recording data input errors for reporting to CP. Data errors in all categories to not exceed 5 per week by the end of the first month, 2 per week by the end of the second month and nil per week by the end of the third month of employment.
• Completing local warning list checks and previous applications search to correctly identify and link relevant information in 100% of new applications.
• Correctly link family applications and ensure that they are collated and delivered as a family group for assessment.
• Reviewing application details, checking the correct completion of application forms and supporting documents submitted. Escalate identified errors or omissions to the Team Leader by the end of the shift.
• Sifting documents in preparation for consideration by an ECO in line with local instructions.
• Identifying documentation requiring additional verification and refer these applications to the Risk Profiling Team by the end of the shift.
• Accurately record file movements on Proviso in 100% of cases before the file are moved to the next receiving Officer or Desk.
• Assist with identifying and retrieving applications where the DST has been completed as required by the Team Leader.
• Conclude/print refusal decisions accurately, ensuring that the correct Proviso record is updated with remote queue - permission to print and then filed away.
• Use all IT in accordance with Standard Operating and Security Procedures in line with the Code of Conduct.
