Responsible for the MSDS of all chemicals in the laboratory and documentation for JCI Accreditation in Al Tadawi Medical Centre. Responsible for the HAZMAT category of the reagents in the Laboratory for JCI Accreditation in Al Tadawi Medical Centre. Ensure proper storage of sample prior to shipment for send - out to reference laboratory. Responsible for receiving samples; ensures proper storage; tests and assay performance; result documentation and filling and signing out and release of official report. Reports panic values (ensuring a ‘read back’ policy) to unit concern for proper assessment of patient and keeps record of all reported values for future references. Maintains the stock level of all the laboratory reagents and consumables. Skilled at interpreting laboratory findings and handling technical report writing activities. Functional ability to manage laboratory equipment calibration and performing clinical assays. Able to timely and accurately manage test results validity verification processes. Special talent for maintaining laboratory quality control and sanitation procedures. Skilled in directing corrective actions in case of unacceptable specimens, to ensure accurate test results. Exceptional arm-hand steadiness aimed at ensuring that specimens are handled with care and minimizing sample retakes. Extensive knowledge of documenting specimens and preparing acquisition lists to ensure free flow of chemicals used during testing procedures. Advanced computer skills with experience in using Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
