* Fully responsible in Estimation / Tendering Department and reporting to Business Development Manager
*Delegating task to fellow estimators/ quantity surveryors with full monitoring and checking if all task/ goals achieved prior and post tender of projects participated
* Analyze and evaluate all potential tenders and responsible for reporting to management
* Coordination with MEP, Engineering and Procurement Department through the course of tendering till award and handing over to Operations Department
• Analyze, study and review each tender project plans, specifications and other related documentation in coordination with the team to determine the clear scope of work, supplier & subcontractor inquiries and potential requests for information to be sent and estimating time required for accuracy and competitive bidding.
• Proficiently processes, distributes and track status of all tender documents, addendums, correspondences and verifies all documents to be complete.
• Leads the review of all final estimate packages and documentation to ensure a complete and accurate tender proposal.
• Assigns responsibilities for estimators on each tender project.
• Conducting bid analysis based on the past performance on projects and modifying cost database for all future estimates.
• Maintaining current and accurate information on prices from suppliers and subcontractors.
• • Full study of all tender documents received and cross checking for any discrepancies.
• Preparation of all inquiries to suppliers and subcontractors including evaluation after receiving quotations.
• Checking of quantifications and pricing up to closing of tender.
• Coordination with the MEP Estimator for related clarifications and builders works
• Coordination with Structural Designers in the case of EPC Tenders
• Finalizing of the BOQ and relevant requirements prior to commercial submission
• Provide assistance and training to fellow estimators
• Quantification/ take-off of materials based on issued plans and specifications.
• Review of received tender documents including conditions of contract and all tender clarifications.
• Preparation and evaluation of all request for quotations based on the tender requirement.
• Collating and finalization of material, labor, subcon and equipment cost prior to submission including preparation of all technical attachments.
• Review of all quotations and specifications as well as preparation for technical clarifications during post tendering stage.
• Over-all in charge for collating all the estimates of various engineering group and finalization of bid and all technical requirements prior to submission.
• Monitor all in-coming bids & designate particular engineering division to assure such be submitted on time.
• Maintain all records of bid proposals, contracts and documents of all awarded and on-going projects.
• One of the key personnel responsible for all clarifications and final negotiations of the project prior to awarding.
• Responsible for having a thorough planning to achieve proper construction schedule and all necessary documentations (materials/ manpower/ equipment distribution) for ahead target completion.
• Estimate the scope of work based on issued plans, bid documents and specifications.
• Prepare the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per quantity take-off and costing of materials, labor and all other items deemed necessary for having a direct and mark-up cost.
• Responsible for monitoring progress of work at project site and ensures that expenses are within the budget.
• Monitors all construction materials request and verify against quantity take-off based on estimates.
I have passed the Philippine Civil Enginnering Board Exam last May 2001 I have been a consistent resident college scholar during college. I have been a Vice President of our Civil Engineering Department in college. I have been our Central Student Council Secretary (College Supreme Council).
