With a continuous foothold in the banking industry, I have honed my to skills to lead marketing and sales efforts of the branch for increased client acquisition and revenue growth. I am steering following tasks:

As a member of a three-person team in a regional office, I was responsible for credit portfolio of SME and commercial credits while reporting to the Regional Credit Head. Together, we successfully pursued commercial business targets and processed seasonal and running finances.

I also developed strong communication and collaboration skills, as we worked closely with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services. In addition, I maintained healthy relationships with obligors and augmented positive reputation in the market.

i. Reviewed credit limits, ensured pre/post disbursement formalities and prepared Credit Analysis (CAs) through Credit reviewer, RMs and branch managers.
ii. Managed existing portfolio and recommended appropriate credit facilities in line with the credit policy.
iii. Helped branches to keep their portfolio on right track in respect of past dues, un-recovered markups, expiring limits, insurance expiries, credit deficiencies.
iv. Helped region keeping their credit portfolio aligned for past dues, unrecovered markups, expiring limits, insurance expiries, credit administration deficiencies and delayed disbursement.

My Achievement: Assisted branch development managers (BDM) for taking measures to maintain risk mitigation, result of which was zero addition in NPL for year 2013 & 14. Also got grade promotion in executive slab in April 2014.

Following the completion of the Management Trainee Program, I began my career in the credit department of the bank. My role included:

i. Actively participated in marketing of SME/commercial accounts to generate profitable customers.
ii. Prepare Credit line proposals including financial analysis, risk analysis, industry analysis, obtaining financial spreads and projections for the renewal of facilities, while ensuring that new relationships or existing clients are maintained with acceptable risk profile.
iii. Arrange security and finance documents, perform mortgage formalities and disbursement of finance by fulfilling risk covenants in credit approvals.
iv. Adopt appropriate relationship management strategies to protect bank's interests and meet expectations of borrowing relationship.
v. Monitor risk on continuing basis and ensure customers at high risk of default are identified in time to take corrective actions.
vi. Associated with clients for submission of audited financial statements, management accounts, ageing debtors, stock/receivable reports and all other information/documents required.
vii. Periodically visiting assets, markup reviews and timely recovery and prepare management reports relating to credits
viii. Keep update on credit products and risk policies, as well as local regulatory requirements

Achievements :
o Contributed towards marketing of liabilities, off-balance sheet items, non-funded business for Rs. 370 Mn and fund based for Rs. 100 Mn (100%).
o Implemented Lease Management System (LMS) in the branch, which resulted into complete control of lease finance functions.
o Founded an online literary club on employee’s HR portal
