Duties and responsibilities:
* Afforestation and Eco-Restoration of degraded areas.
* Raising Tree gardens, seedling nurseries and their management.
* Manage eco-restoration projects like raising large scale tree plantations, right from preparation of proposals, design and then estimate preparation, its tendering, work awarding and later its execution, check measure & approve bills of contractors
Duties and responsibilities:
* Manage landscape and garden construction activities
* Carry out Inspection (RFI) of Garden construction activities, Conduct incoming agricultural material inspection (IMI),
* Study variations in softscape and amend designs as per clients requirement. Calculate cost implications, Conduct landscape mock-ups.
* Monitor the work executed by contractor and verify whether the work has been executed as per client drawings. Prepare Landscape Operation & Maintenance manual (O&M Manual).
* Review of As Built Drawings, Prepare time schedule,
* Review of Method statements, B.O.Q’s technical specifications.
* To monitor Quality control and Quality assurance
Duties and responsibilities:
* Manage various Landscape construction and maintenance projects providing them with all required inputs like manpower, machineries, vehicles, skilled specialists.
* Control pest and diseases at the economic threshold level
* Fertilizer recommendations, conduct soil tests,
* To coordinate with the suppliers for procurement of materials and machinery
* Indoor plant display and maintenance
* Installation and maintenance of seasonal flowers for winter and summer seasons and keep them under optimum irrigation.
* Supervision of Plant Propagation repotting, hauling and arranging plants in green houses of the Nursery
* Participation in regular meetings with client management and subcontractors
* Review Method statements, Contract documents and B.O.Q’s technical specifications. Review of Shop drawings and prepare As Built Drawings
* Follow WORK PERMIT SYSTEM. Check & inspect underground Utilities before carrying out site excavation works. Ensure that all site activities are carried in strict compliance with health and safety
* Monitor installation and maintenance of irrigation net work
Duties and responsibilities:
* Supervision of all agricultural activities like Trimming, pruning, Hedging, Edging, Tree shaping, Mowing activities, fertilizing, watering activities.
* Manage operations of Landscaping Machines like TORO Mower tractor, Jacobsons five gang Mower tractor, Cylinder and Rotor mower machines, Fertilizer Spreader, Hedge Trimmer, Edge cutter, Verti cutting and Verti-draining machines, Top dressers etc.
* Conduct timely turf maintenance operations like Aeration, Verticutting, Top dressing, fertilizing, Shade management etc.
Almost similar responsibilities that I mentioned
above. Here it is a University Campus. Here Landscape & Garden are administered by agricultural department of the University.
