Roles and responsibilities as hospital pharmacist at Al- Noor Specialist Hospital on different posts:

Clinical analysis of prescriptions before dispensing.Dispensing various classes of prescribed drugs including narcotics.
Patient medical counselling for outpatients.
Evaluating any potential drug interactions for admitted patients and out patients.
Clinical interventions.
Dose calculations for both paediatric and geriatric patients.
Ward rounds and inspections.
Drug information for the health care professionals of the hospital. Maintaining an approved stock of emergency drugs and antidotes. Experience in compounding Extemporaneous preparations for paediatric patients.
Delivering lectures for nurses and doctors on regular basis. Education’s coordinator for pharmacy.
Preparing policy and procedures for MRQP for the accreditation certification.
Preparing policy and procedures for JCIA for the accreditation certification.
Worked as a pharmacy drug store supervisor by maintaining the supply chain of medicines according to demand and supply.
Also responsible for purchasing the direct purchase drugs not included in the list of Ministry of Health.
Also responsible for exchange of drugs with other hospitals according to mutual needs.

Roles and responsibilities as production pharmacist (AZ pharmaceutical unit):
AZ Pharmaceutical Lahore (Pakistan) July 1998 to July 2001

Production pharmacist.
Supervising the autoclave (Sterilizing) section.
Supervising labelling and packing section.
Handling storage of the finished products.
Working in quality assurance department.
