Over the past 17 years of employment at this institution I was entrusted with the tutelage and preparation of students for Local and Regional examinations, as well as the world of work from forms 1 to form 5.

I have been instrumental in the designing, restructuring and implementing of School Based Assessments and Schemes of work for the form 1 to form 5 levels. I was also instrumental in the establishment of a three level standard by which students are to be assessed in lower level (forms 1-3)

I have maintained an average pass rate of 100% at CSEC (except for three years scattered in between with a pass rate of 98%) and also the implementation of STEAM projects at the form 3 level.

I was responsible for the designing and execution of the Career Fair programmes from 2014-2018

I am a passionate teacher who is devoted to bridging the gender gap in science -based careers, and committed to keeping parents and guardians involved in students’ education. Coordinates with administrators, families and students to help students reach their full potential.

I pride myself on being an engaging teacher skilled at encouraging and inspiring high school students. I strive to reach out to students to help them reach their highest level of academic success possible. And believe that this passion can be brought into the Administrative role as it pertains to the development of programs/curricula designed to draw the most out of my charges and colleagues.

I have been commended by my Head of Department for always seizes an opportunity to enhance learning, building on spontaneous events or students’ interests, and that my questions elicit thoughtful and high-level responses amongst the students.
