Job Description:
•Piping Layout, Piping routing plan study, Piping Detailing.
•Preparation of piping Erection and Fabrication drawings for piping erection with routing.
•Stress analysis of pipes with valves fittings & instrumentation (includes headers, dosing and spray skids, other machined and welded components as applicable).
•Valves selection (Globe & Gate Valves, Safety Valves, NRV’s, Control Valves)
•Generation of MTO & issue of documents for shop fabrication.
•3D Modelling of Piping, Structures, Equipment & Pipe Supports in PDMS.
•Preparation of specification and approval documents in line with IBR/ASME requirements to get IBR/Customer approvals for piping erection and production of power plants and industrial components.
•Selection of bought-out items and evaluating the vendor documents for the above items and approving for manufacture at their end.
•Interaction with clients for review meetings to review the progress of the design phase and to finalize the client requirements.
•Interdisciplinary co-ordination with other disciplines like C&I, Process & Proposals, Civil, Structures and Mechanical to execute the job.
•Interaction with vendors and evaluation of vendor submissions for bought out items
in Charge

Job Description:
•Conceptual design of a proper experimental prototype set-up to perform the experiment which includes an electric boiler for steam generation, a 500 NB pipe from NPCIL in which a crack is generated by thermal stresses, a proper arrangement on the pipe to collect the steam that escapes through the crack, a condenser to condense the collected steam, a collection tank to collect the condensate and pumps and other instrumentation as required to perform the experiment.
•Prepared the layout drawings and other required deliverables of the set-up including piping arrangement with valves, fittings and instrumentation.
•Evaluated the consultant and vendor capabilities for the fabrication of the set-up and did technical bid evaluations.
•Getting approval from the client NPCIL for the system and the methodology of the experiment.
•Preparation of project/progress reports to be submitted to the client

•Design of special systems and piping arrangements for the plant as per the new process requirements like inline strainers for the pump house of the water treatment plant and piping arrangements for the product collection tanks.
•In charge of the up gradation of piping from source fresh water inlet to the RO treatment plant
•Operation and supervision of Reverse osmosis Water Treatment Plant (RO-WTP).
•Coordinating with the maintenance group to ensure the continuous running of the plants.
