• Regular follow up with all customers for new enquiries, shipments on sector wise.
• Regular follow up will all overseas agents and get updated rate tariff for all segments on monthly wise.
• Checking and confirming the daily status report from team and make sure all in order
• Tracking of all enquiries from customer and make sure customers get quotation on time.
• Follow up with customer on the status of pending quotations, and revise the quotation if needed.
• File nomination on approved quotation thru our Efreight Suite package and confirm that origin agent has received the same.
• Continuous follow up with agent and make sure all docs are as per Doha customs rules.
• Continuous updates to customer on each stages of shipments and make sure all shipments reaching Doha in required time frame which advised by consignee.
• Make sure all arrived shipments are with proper documentation, forward to clearance department and make sure cargo delivering on time.
• Negotiating with agents and customers on special rates and get approval.
• Make sure that the cost and sell is as per the agreement and that the booking is not going on loss
• Have handled air, sea and land movements.
• Getting the pre-alerts on time from the agent and to verify that it is matching with the shipping documents

Preparing purchase orders based on sales quotation.
Get order confirmation, date of delivery, weight and volume of the shipment from supplier and decide on the mode of shipment.
Coordinate with accounts department to prepare the payment for the suppliers based on the payment terms agreed with the supplier.
Request quotation from freight forwarders
Decide the forwarder based on the quoted rates, supplier country and previous experience in handling similar shipments if any.
Validate the shipping documents to make sure it complies with the local regulatory (Qatar Customs) rules.
Constantly monitoring the status updates from supplier and freight forwarder to ensure that the shipment is always on track.
Initiate the clearance process once the shipment arrives in Qatar.
Deliver materials post approval from the concerned project team and finance team.
Update ERP (JDE) with freight, customs and supplier invoices and print the delivery note to the client after making the sales order.
Update the JDE log, archive and file all the projects once it is completed.
