Review submittals, supervised & conduct inspection to all mechanical works including testing @ commissioning, attend meetings and perform the required correspondence.
Review material / shop drawing, supervise and inspect, review the design of all mechanical works ( HVAC, Drainage/ Plumbing & fire protection), monitor and supervise testing & commissioning .
• Interpret drawings and/or specification requirements re: all construction matters, queries and other points arising from Contractor’s requests and/or performance
• Review all materials submission and shop drawings
• Provide all technical support to the Resident Engineer.
• Attend site meetings as required and report all matters concerning work activities
• Liaise with other Senior Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineers as necessary
• Support project execution team
• Review /process / approve the following:
o All mechanical technical submittals
o Contractor’s shop drawings, in compliance with IFC drawings, Project specification and National and International standards
o All mechanical material submittals and samples as per project specification
o Contractor’s correspondence related to mechanical works
• Prepare response to various contractor’s queries, for the Resident Engineer’s review
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) re: mechanical works, design feedback (to be directed to the Designer for response). Review the responses for adequacy.
