Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignment.
Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.
Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
Provides CAD design and drafting support to existing and new product programs. Assists with design modifications to facilitate manufacturing operation or improve quality of product
Maintains CAD models, drawings and associated files in the data management system per department procedures.
Maintains systems for monitoring and tracking service requests, preventive maintenance work performed compliance with Hazard Communications program requirements, compliance with safety requirements, supplies and parts inventories, purchases, and turn-key operations.
Performs production machine repairs and troubleshooting.
Ensures adherence to customer service standards. Works with maintenance staff to ensure that resident maintenance issues are dealt with in a timely manner and that proper follow-through is done.
Works with maintenance employees and other property staff to develop an effective, proactive team that works together to achieve property objectives.
Maintain sufficient inventories of tools, parts and supplies in order to properly maintain the property
Assists storekeeper supervisor with preparation of maintenance operating budgets in accordance with owner objectives. Assists with preparation of re-forecasts as required. Works with property team to adhere to budgeted cost parameters.
Generally responsible in drafting workshop drawings for fabrication.
Coordination with all other related disciplines, plan execution for making drawing for moulds/dies, jigs and other machine shop projects
Ensures that all drafting works will be done in accordance with all the contract documents, specifications and all applicable standards
Maintains systematic filing of all approve CAD drawings - soft and hard copy.
Monitor work center loads and employee performance;
Improve machine time while improving the quality;
Ensuring the tools is available and schedules are met;
Work with schedule and engineering to improve productivity
Communicate with other departments and shifts.
