As part of the role, orchestrate negotiations, draft complex commercial contracts, provide specialised regulatory advice, conduct thorough legal due diligence, mitigate key legal risks and facilitate policy development.
• Expertise in providing legal advice to both parent companies and local subsidiaries across multiple jurisdictions, whilst considering varying laws and regulations.
• Key transactions involved advising Geechs Japan on the acquisition of an Australian subsidiary and supporting Softbank with reporting obligations for its Australian foreign-controlled enterprise.
• During a Secondment to Secretlab Singapore, demonstrated a superior level of legal proficiency by advising the board of directors, drafting various agreements such as Buy-Now-Pay-Later (BNPL) Agreements, Influencer Engagement Agreements and Fulfilment Service Agreements with key services providers.
