Responsible for the planning deliverable preparations and completion of Work Packages at least one week prior to Planned Execution Date. In-charge for proper monitoring and reporting of the actual progress or work activities and recommends counter measures, if necessary.
Develop work plans, Method Statement involving activity sequences, task relationships, durations, resources with corresponding tools and equipment required in all maintenance works related to static, rotating, piping, civil, structural Instrument/Electrical and other interfaces.
Carry out job site visits / walk thru to determine
accurately the scope of work to be executed.
Ensure completeness of Work Packages for every work scope (i.e., engineering/isometric drawings, box-up certificate, SO-SAF for temporary connections, crane lifting plan, manual hoisting plan, process safety derogation, Process Isolation Packages, Rescue & Ventilation plan, Scaffolding Design and Cost estimates)
Create quality permit to work (PTW) in every work scope and guarantee strict implementation of the PTW rules in the work location.
Prepare Material Take Off and incorporate in the Packaging List of Material Controller’s issuance
reference prior to planned Execution Date.
Responsible for the day-to-day coordination & monitoring of erection /assembly activities to ensure that the project is within approved schedule and budget.
Reviews and interprets detailed engineering drawings and other assembly related documents prior to start of work.
Checks project documents and drawings are in its latest registered revision.
Prepares daily progress report, monthly report, and balance material report for proper monitoring of the project.
Prepares field queries about possible re-works based on actual site checking.
Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules and work hours.
Organizing, attending and participating in coordinators meetings.
Ensuring resources and equipment are always available.
Thorough project documentation.
Creating and reviewing of reports.
Review MTRs for specification conformance and maintain files with regard to Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedure (SAEP), Saudi Aramco Materials Systems Specifications (SAMSS), project specific and surplus materials.
Witness hydro tests to ensure all required test and calibration documentation are available and
relevant and that the test procedures conform to client requirements.
Maintenance of testing equipment calibration records (i.e., pressure testing, torque testing, electrical parameter testing).
Continuing education with regards to code revisions and client specifications
Reviews the legibility, accuracy & completeness of all documents that will be part of project quality records.
Prepares and reviews Welding Inspection Checklist (WIC), Quality Control Inspection Report (QCIR), Receiving Inspection Report (RIR), etc. prepared by Document Engineers and/or QC Inspectors prior to submission to the Client.
Compiles documents such as testing package, non-conformity report, index of release of report, engineering drawings, punch list, etc. for the preparation of Production Data Book.
