Perform various clinical laboratory test, procedures and analysis used for diagnosis treatment and
prognosis of disease.
• Experience in macroscopic and microscopic analysis on human body fluid, secretions and
excretions in different areas such as haematology, chemistry, serology, microbiology and blood
banking.
• Trained for theoretical and practical knowledge for proper collection, handling and processing of
specimen for laboratory examination.
• Enter details of tests conducted in the lab in a computer system for record keeping and future
reference
• Extensive experience to perform phlebotomy, blood extractions, venipuncture and capillary
puncture in all patients.
• Maintain lab equipments and inventory, perform user maintenance of various equipments.
• Work with physicians, doctors, and other medical staff in diagnosing patients’ conditions and
carrying out experiments to identify the gravity of infection as this is important in creating effective
treatment plans for combating severe cases of ill health.
