Responsible for competently providing safe and effective care to Womens and Children.
-Asses care needs, plans, implements and evaluates programs of care.
-Responsible for ensuring all duties are carried out to the highest possible standard.
-Provides total individualize patient care and assumes accountability for assesing, planning, implementing and evaluating therapy needs, discharge planning for each patient and assesing for current potential problems.
-Contributes to the achievement of clinical quality outcome indicators and patient satisfaction by demonstaration of extraordinary service.
-Utilizes a professional practice framework and evidenced base care, identifies improvement areas while minimiing risks creating care that is optimal to our patients and family.
-Promotes a safe environment and safe patient care by emracing a safety culture and identifying areas of risk to the Nurse Supervisor.
-Educates the patient/family and other members of the health care team.
-Participates in education programs and provides consultation to patient, families, staff and community agencies and satellite centers.
-Act as an advocate by empowering women/childreb and their families to make informed choices by providing them infromation, support and direction to the relevant support services when appropriate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Obstetric Nurse

• Responsible on giving a highest standard maternity care
• Assisting the physician on Intra Uterine Device insertion and removal.
• Responsible for identifying the patients who has an urgent need.
• Assisting the physicians on pap smear and taking vaginal swab.
• Educating the patient on healthy living during pregnancy.
• Taking the patients vital signs.
• Responsible for prioritizing the patient who has a high risk of bleeding during pregnancy.







Pre-employment/Medical Comission Department

• Responsible for assisting the patients sent by the designated company for pre employment, and visa application sent to Medical Commision.
• Responsible for updating the company / Patients sponsor about the status of the patients condition as per company’s standard.
• Rendering physical assesment.
• Doing an ECG and spirometry test.
• Instructing the patients as per company policies about the required test for them, laboratory test, refferal to specialist if needed, xray request and physiotherapy assessment.

Triage
• Taking and recording of the patient's vital signs.
• Prioritizing of patient based on injury, illness, severity, prognosis and resource availability
• Identifying patients who cannot wait to be seen, prioritize all patients, inititate therapeutic diagnosis, and measures.

Neurology Nurse
• Assisting the doctor on rendering the epidural and facet joint injection on spine under CT scan.
• Assisting the doctor on wound dressing to the post operative patient.
• Updating the medical records of every patient.
• Assisting the Neurosurgeons on lumbar puncture
• Administering medications and arranging appointment of surgeries.
• Assisting the patient on requested procedures .
• Providing physical and emotional support to the ailing patients.


Pediatric Nurse

• Giving immunization and vaccinations.
• Implementing and participating in immunization and vaccination programmes for both adult and children.
• Taking the child’s vital signs.
• Admitting the patients who needs an immediate treatment.
• Assisting the physicians on reviewing the immunization on both adult and child.
• Educating the guardian of a child on care after the immunization
• Instructing the guardian of a child on the medications given by the physicians


Orthopedic Nurse
• Assiting the patients with musculoskeletal problems.
• Assisting the physicians on cast, fiber cast, and splint application and removal.
• Responsible for admitting the pre operative and scheduling the patients on their surgeries.
• Assisiting the patient upon admission.
• Educating patients on cast care.


Quality Improvement/ Accreditation Team Member

• Primarily responsible for the proposals of policies and procedures on Ambulatory Care Department required by the Accreditation Canadian International.
• Rendering a risk assesment among staff.
• Educating colleagues on the revised policies and procedures done.
• Monitoring the staff on the improvement and creating a baseline data for the continous implementation of the Nursing Process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Providing nursing care for ailing employees of client company.
• Assist the company physician in the course of daily standar procedures of the client company's clinic such as consultation and treatment.
• Plan, develop, evaluate and recommend occupational health promotion programs to the company or the company physician if present.
• Assist in the transport of employees from the company to the nearest hospital in cases of emergencies.
• Practice independent nursing action and intervention in the absence of the company physician at the same time observing proper referral system.
• Strictly practice utmost confidentiality of employees health information
• Maintain good grooming and professional attitude in the workplace.
