Responsible for serving customers on the shop floor and answering their needs are answered in a timely manner in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and achieve optimum sales results.
•Arrange and replenish on a continuous basis the shop shelves and ensure that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean.
•Watch for and prevent security risk and thefts, and escalate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert loss
•Perform physical and electronic inventory of shop products on a regular basis as per Company guidelines in order to ensure accurate stock keeping
•Inform Department Manager of unavailable and non-performing products
•Merchandize products under the appropriate sections according to sales trends, date of release, and as per the Department Manager recommendations
•Receiving shipment of items from the warehouse for the shop
•Creating transfer requests based on products that is unavailable in the shop and is available in another branch of the shop
•Preparing products for transfer into another branch of the shop
Design and modify existing programs and data structures; provide for proper maintenance of assigned programs; perform analysis and modification of existing programs and operations to meet changing needs and to provide for system enhancements.
•Design, program, code and analyse new computer programs and data structures in accordance with specifications and user needs, including screen formats and job control language procedures in accordance with programming standards.
•Assist other programmers with complex programming projects and needs; serve as Project Leader as assigned.
•Maintain file structures used in programs; maintain flow charts or narrative description of program flow, purpose and operation.
•Examine output data from program operations to verify and assure accuracy and completeness of data; test and de-bug programs to assure reliability of program operations.
•Maintain contact with users to analyse system performance and efficiency; provide training support and consult with users to discuss desired output and user expectation.
•Maintain current knowledge of developments, issues and advancements in data processing equipment and software.
•Write and maintain program and system operations documentation for users and operators; assure documentation contains steps to initiate programs and routines to remedy interruptions in program runs.
•Consult with information systems staff regarding system design, problems and developments and other related matters; assist other staff with system design phase of new applications.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
•Maintain regular attendance.
