▪Supplier Evaluation Model (SEM) Audit using Volvo Methodology for Both Existing as well as New Suppliers in order to identify Best Practices and Risks.
▪Involved in Localisation, Direct sourcing and new product development projects as per APQP system and PPAP approval
▪System, CP and Process audits at supplier’s site
▪Support Commodity Buyer in Formulating the Commodity sourcing strategy
▪Responsible for supplier development, in terms of maintaining and improving QD performance and being the main supplier point of contact
▪Assisting suppliers to get Q and E certificates
▪Problem solving using Quality tools (8D, 5Why analysis, Cause and effect diagram
▪DMAIC approach to problem solving.
I was responsible for Planning, Co ordinating & Execution of Supplier Approval Module Audit for new & existing supplier.
- Closing the audit points with effective action plan implementation
- Streamlining the supply from critical suppliers
- Capacity monitoring as per forecast for Critical suppliers
- Improving 5S at suppliers
I was a very active member in organising and coordinating for Cheminar Active in drama club.
