Current Project Involvement
Currently Managing and coordinating all the Health, Safety, Security and Environmental aspects within the ASGC ‘The Dubai Mall Boulevard Expansion project’ in Downtown, Dubai.
The project is extremely complex and involves selective demolition/ existing services strip out, modification and strengthening of the existing structure & Façade of ‘The Dubai Mall Cinema Parking facility.
Partial demolition of parking level 4 and parking level 6 as well as the selective removal of the slabs to accommodate the retail plan and to allow for revised vehicle ramping and traffic circulation.
The role includes high levels of communication and interaction with the consultant HSE Team and project management coordinators to ensure the highest levels of Quality and HSSE are maintained and implemented always during the project’s life cycle.
A key role in the designation of Projects HSSE Manager is to ensure a positive Health, Safety, Security and Environmental culture is maintained by everyone involved in the projects operations. This commitment will be rewarded by an HSSE excellence which exceeds above and beyond ‘The Dubai Mall’ - EMAAR’s expectations.
Project Involvement
Successfully managed and coordinated the QHSSE requirements within the ASGC Citywalk and Blue Water Island, Dubai residential developments, total projects value of 4.5 Billion Dirhams.
This position involved overseeing all aspects of HSSE and assisting with Quality assurance within the projects development phases of work which collectively generated at peak performance a daily manpower of 10, 000 workers at Citywalk and Blue Water Island 5, 000 workers.
A systematic direction and management of an QHSSE resource 250 personnel was continual. A proactive review of the workplace systems of work were continually implemented to ensure they are effective and compliant to the National and International safety standards.

Successfully manage and coordinate the AMBB Groups HSE infrastructure.
The position over saw all aspects of the Group's Health, Safety and Environmental responsibilities both operationally at tender, post tender stage and internally within the company assets.
The management of multiple HSE activities within the Group was successfully achieved through self and team motivation, organisation and implementation of Group training, management of the Group's HSE Statistics, recruitment and management of HSE Advisors and strategic management with Senior Group Managers to maintain and encourage their positive HSE culture.
Encouraged a positive HSE Culture and continually developed by managing the HSE performance of facilities through various safety metrics which lead to an improvement of the organisations safety performance and thereafter harnessing the achieved levels of safety for further improvement.

Brief Description of Responsibilities
▪ The implementation of site safety management systems geared to comply with the current world HSE legislation.
▪ Assessment of the current safe systems of work and safety culture, this involves the conveying an awareness of new HSE legislation throughout the AMBB Group and assessing behavioral trends of the company employees from Senior Management to site operatives.
▪ Pursue the continuous achievement of HSE qualifications in order to develop and broaden the knowledge of the Groups Departments.
▪ Have an active role in conducting inter-departmental safety training schemes, briefings and HSE assessments in order to maintain the standard of Health and Safety throughout the AMBB Group.
Successfully manage and coordinate the AMBB Interiors HSE Division and infrastructure. Initiation of new systems of work and continually improve modifications of safety with regards to existing safe systems of work. The HSE Division over sees all HSE systems of work required for ongoing projects. These projects are managed safely and in accordance with the company safety policy/quality commitments and arrangements which are influenced by the National and International Safety Guidelines.

Member of a Duty watch (16 Fire fighters) in Exeter City Fire Station which consisted of 65 fully operational Fire fighters.
The station grounds emergency coverage spanned over an unusually large area of 200 square miles. This incorporated highly populated urban and sub-urban areas with several High Risk road networks such as the M5 Motorway, A38 and A30, these having a substantial increase of traffic flow during the UK holiday seasons. Rural regions of the emergency coverage included various watercourses and adverse terrains which proved challenging during emergency incidents.
The role included extensive fire risk assessments of the station grounds high risk entities and an involvement in active neighborhood fire protection initiatives within the community.
