My duties are the following:
- Design, enhance, and maintain the firmware of the MDT’s auxiliary device
- Perform rigorous testing to ensure software quality
- Supervise testers to ensure that correct testing procedures are followed
- Test and integrate third party products in the MDT
- Research and prototype new innovative features
- Enhance and maintain MDT software written in C++ with Qt
- Perform root cause analysis and fix bugs
- Write documentation
- Help in investigating hardware issues and repairing of MDTs
- Assist the Customer Support Team
I was responsible for developing business applications. During my stay, I learned SAP-ABAP programming language.
In this role, I developed, debugged, tested, and documented the firmware modules of their product IQube Kit.
I was responsible for building customized desktop computer systems. Moreover, I was assigned to install various software including operating systems, drivers, and applications. I also set up proxy servers, SSH (Secure Shell) servers and VNC (Virtual Network Computing) servers for remote access.
