My present employer is a quality assured global provider of risk services in 14 countries with staff in 24 regions. servicing a range of resources, utility, transport, hospitality, govt and other multinational clients.

I directly manage the development, design, operation, and improvement of systems that create and deliver the company's risk services and products. I am responsible for ensuring that business operations are implemented efficiently and effectively and that the proper management of resources, delivery of risk services to the client, and development and analysis of internal systems are conducted. I further manage the Quality Assurance systems to ISO standard and training and education internally and externally.

I have a sound operational and commercial background, with a minimum 8 years in operational and corporate management roles throughout the AsiaPac Region.

Commercial elements I manage include the full range of operational risk services. These consist of operational readiness, crisis and consequence management, commercial resilience, corporate investigation, emergency, safety and security services and portfolio management.

My present internal focus includes commercial innovation and change management, and I am completing a Masters Degree in this subject.

Managerially, I have an exceptional written ability for documentation and reporting, and representative ability to Boardroom level. I am able to develop and quickly understand and deliver diversified and complex service lines in a variety of operating environments. I display motivation and dynamism to work autonomously in driving service delivery forward and implementing change that supports management’s responsibilities. I commit to maintaining positive working relationship across operations and provide high levels of organization, detail orientation and time management skills to my role as well as operational experience.

AEP ws a Unity Resources Group wholly owned company. Emplyed as the GM, I was primarily tasked to change manage the national expansion of AEP which was at the time supplying physical protective security and associated security risk management services, and merge the operating structure into the Unity group.

Various legal and operational considerations were managed as part of the change management process with the successful transition of AUD5 million in client turnover. The implementation of different operating systems, software and hardware was aligned with the transition of staff complementing a new HR system.

I operated in Australia providing management and operational risk services to government and commercial entities. I had extensive management connection at all levels, and also assisted in providing operational risk and physical emergency, safety and security risk services to Emcorp entities in Malaysia and Indonesia. I worked with a team permanent staff in Australia, small management teams in each OS location, and oversight of a vetted contractor framework.

Specific works included risk assessments, security operations, investigation services, technology application and more.

I assisted in reviewing, integrating and implementing systems to assist client risk on a number of projects, and have extensive experience of client relationship management at all levels. Clients included many multi nationals and also specific Indonesian and Malaysian entities and included mining, water and energy utilities, oil and gas, retail, health care, federal and state government planning authorities, ports and property management.

I aligned the company to higher learning institutions (Macquarie University) and partnered to develop and deliver university programs on various risk topics.

A Operational Management position for an Emergency Management company, services included providing detailed risk assessment of specialist guided weapons and explosive ordnance facilities, the recommendation and implementation of heavy emergency response fire and rescue plant, specialised rescue equipment, certified fire fighting personnel and responder station management services to government, defence and commercial entities.

Following service with the NSW Police Force I moved on to Fire Rescue NSW’s Specialised Operations support division of the emergency services.

I am a qualified Hazardous Materials Technician with a diverse range of experience in the field of dangerous goods including chemical, biological and radiological safety and major hazard facilities risk. I am also a Category II Urban Search and Rescue \[USAR\] specialist with numerous deployment and support experiences.

With the Hazardous Materials Training Centre I assisted in L&D and government multi agency risk frameworks, and implementing the government’s multi-agency response platform to specific national and international major hazard risk for the Sydney Olympics. This included developing key integration processes for the military and civil defence elements and educating participants in a number of processes.

I have operated with specialised areas of the defence department and tactical operations teams with state and federal policing agencies on a number of criminal and terrorism issues. This included the FBI response teams in reviewing capability.

I further provided technical support to the government’s global disaster management & recovery team (Task Force 1), and operated in Fire Rescue NSW’s heavy hazardous materials response capability before leaving the government to the private sector. My experience includes major disease outbreaks, earthquake and tsunami response and the management of radiation emergencies.

I have travelled internationally studying government response capabilities and the development of civil defence risk platforms.

After completing my tenure with the NSW Police College studying a range of legal frameworks, social and operational policing strategies, I was allocated to a extremely busy operational command in Sydney Australia.

Duties included uniformed policing, undercover strike force teams and the escort of the states highest risk criminals in transport and legal proceedings. I have further trained with tactical operations teams.

I excelled in the completion of high end briefs of evidence with the successful outcome of prosecution of 95% of subjects brought before the court.
