Have responsibility for service matters in the Service Delivery organisation.
Lead a team which is responsible for planning, tracking and providing detailed insight on the key service metrics on which business performance is assessed.
Responsible for providing regular updates to the
CEO, Ofcom and Industry which requires a detailed understanding of the engineering operational processes.
Responsible for regulatory finance matters in Openreach, providing key input to Openreach board, executive team and Ofcom.
Led on charge control analysis for both the 2018 WLA and 2019 BCMR, resulting in generating the company hundreds of millions of pounds in additional revenue.
Acted as the interface between the Openreach operational data and the data used in constructing the regulated statements.
Involved significant interaction and lobbying activity with Ofcom.
Designed and built a regulated return on capital employed forecast model, presented to Group CFO and CEO and is now used as part of our core planning process.
Responsible for operational planning for Service Delivery (over 15, 000 engineers). Worked with the Managing Director and senior leadership team to build the quarterly medium term resource plan including the submission of the annual budget.
•Heavily involved in creating business cases for large scale recruitment initiatives.
•Key skills in the role include senior stakeholder management, communication, data analysis, strategic planning and people management.
Business & Corporate (Ethernet)
•Whilst performing the operational planning role for Business & Corporate planning (Ethernet circuits), created and developed a new methodology for assessing operational performance and led on strategic resourcing for the unit that formed the basis of resource planning and budgeting processes.
•Rewarded with a promotion after working in this role for 3 months due to insight brought to area.
Service Enablement (Frames)
•Whilst working as the head of Service enablement resourcing, designed and developed a detailed resource model to help the business better understand its performance to help drive efficiency and performance.
•Recognised by the business numerous times a result of the insight and analysis provided in this role.
Project management activities (predominantly within telecoms) requiring the ability to form strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and clients.
Scoping and planning of engagements whilst ensuring their successful delivery within budget. Informal training of junior staff whilst on engagements and actively involved in graduate recruitment.
