In Post-award stage:
• Setting up the technical team for the delivery of construction documents as per design, specs & BOQ
• Planning & scheduling the delivery of design/ construction documents in line with the projects timeline and contract
• Liaising with subcontractors & suppliers for the delivery of construction documents and material submittals
• Performing commercial negotiations with suppliers of finishing items
• Attending progress meetings with the client for updates
• Attending technical workshops for problem-solving

In tendering stages:
• Leading the team for reviewing the tender documents

• In design & build projects, I prepare RFP, list & plan deliverables, review design proposal for compliance with the budget & time-line…
Reporting directly to the Director of EPC works and being involved in the already tendered designs,
- I review/ supervise the review of all tender documents prior to construction to ensure coordination between all trades
- I discuss Value engineering ideas with cost consultants and construction PMs and communicate the same with client and design consultants
- I attend to client's, contractors' and consultants' communication
- I attend and assist construction PMs to clear contractors' claims
- I plan and distribute the work of the architectural team in light of project's progress and priorities
- I review all architectural team's output to ensure compliance with design, budget and coordination between the different trades
- I monitor the documentation of final design and/or tender documents
- I attend meetings with contractors, client and consultants to solve any shortcomings, VE, follow-up on some design and construction-related issues
- I conduct regular site visits to ensure the compliance with the design and approved shop drawings
- I review all finishing materials submitted by the contractors and where needed seek alternatives and related approvals from designers and clients
Managed the design program & did the preliminary designs
- Managed Architectural Department's in-house workload
- Managed & reviewed outsourced Consultants' design submittals
- Provided technical support to construction team in all five Fields (Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Westbank and Gaza)
- Conducted site visits to ensure compliance with the design
- I worked for one year as a projects officer preparing project proposals and monitoring projects' delivery in all Fields.
In parallel, I did Free-lance work for Kayyali & Fasheh consultants and for Assembly Jordan (design & design management for selected projects) :
- managed the delivery of Design documents by the design team

- attended meetings with clients and followed-up the requested design changes

- Lead the coordination process with other design trades and provided design solutions as needed
- Reviewed BOQs and specs.

• Joint Japan- World Bank scholarship program, granted for September 2001 to attend a Master’s Course on urban Housing Management in Sweden, but I declined it and took another (see below). • Karim Rida Saed Foundation, granted also for September 2001 to attend a Master’s course in London • David Thomas Award, for field research studies during my Master’s year 2002.
