Employee Relations, Personnel Administration & Benefits:
- Responsible for running an effective and efficient employee help desk to advice employees and management staff on Human Resources policies, processes and procedures.
- Ensure that employee and management questions are fully addressed and escalate complex / difficult queries to specialists, when necessary.
- Developed an online portal for employees on HR related matters.
- Handled, organized and coordinate the hiring and onboarding process for local and overseas candidates starting from signing contracts stage up to first day of employment by preparing contracts, communication, visa processing, ticket booking, accommodation arrangements, airport pickup, bank account opening, office arrangement, IT logins and office arrangements.
- Handled employee induction and orientations related to Organization, Benefits, HR policies & procedures, residencies and payroll processing, performance management & probations.
- Responsible for all employee relations issues like complains and grievances, administrative investigations and counseling, probations, promotions and exit interviews.
- Coordinating staff events and social activities.
- Helped in developing and drafting various HR polices such as overtime, attendance.
- Preparing all types of HR reports monthly, periodic or yearly required by management, finance or third parties (ministries).
- Built relationship with government bodies and 3rd parties for personnel matters (work permits, visas, etc.).
- Responsible for the processing of employee compensation and benefits disbursements (payroll, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonus, end-of-service indemnity, insurance, etc.).
- Oversee the follow-up on vacation, leaves (study, maternal, sick) and attendance; highlight violations and distribute attendance reports to concerned parties.
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Sourcing, interviewing, identifying and recruiting suitable candidates for different categories (Teaching and Non-Teaching) according to existing procedures, agreed time levels and budgets.
- Exploring new sources for candidates such as websites and recruitment agencies.
- Making necessary arrangements and itinerary for candidates abroad to be interviewed in Kuwait.
- Negotiating the offer with the selected candidates and explaining in details the benefits associated with the position.
- Sending letters of regret to rejected applicants and keeping database for interviewed candidates.
- Managing and maintaining personnel records in accordance with the company procedures.
