Manage a multi task activities at Zayed University, including roles in acting on behalf of the End-user’s to ensure continuous smooth operations by providing services such as campus planning, capital and strategic planning, construction management, design management, project management and facilities management.
Provides strategic support to the University leadership in the capital planning and capital budgeting process. Creates and implements a strategic vision for an integrated campus that will serve future academic needs and be an asset to the broader urban community. Developed policies and procedures including health, safety and security in line with international standards and local authorities regulation. The goals are to optimize land and building resources, provide a context for capital projects, and create a coherent and attractive campus.
Key Roles Include:

a) Provide overall leadership and management of Campus Physical Development Department and University facilities.
b) Lead the development and completion of complex, large projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
c) Effectively represent the University with external stakeholders.
d) Develop policies and procedure.
e) Establish health and safety management system.
f) Provides strategic and tactical leadership on large-scale University projects including the completion of the new campus in Abu Dhabi and the planning and development of a further facilities in Dubai.
g) Overall facilities management.
h) Leads the development and update of campus master plans, the University’s facility plan and contributes to development of University’s capital budget(s).
i) Through the Facilities Project Manager, provides overall leadership to construction and renovation projects.
j) Annually updates Department’s strategic plan and develops Department’s operating plan and budget.
k) Represents Department in University’s management structure and processes, including the strategic planning process.
l) Develops policies and procedures to ensure effective, efficient and safe operations of Department and University facilities.
m) Ensures that the design and construction of renovation and construction projects meet University requirements, and are completed within budget, per specifications and on schedule.
n) Ensures that facilities meet appropriate quality and safety regulations and standards and University needs.
o) Ensures Department operates within University and Department regulations, policies, procedures and budget, and exhibits best professional and business practices.
p) Develops a unified facilities University system to facilitate campus space and building changes, maintain accurate facilities inventories and “as built” drawings, support budget development and tracking, and support strategic planning.
q) Represents the University and establishes effective working relationships and partnerships with University’s complex network of external contacts including consultants, contractors, public agencies, businesses and professional bodies.
Projects:
• New Campus in Abu Dhabi, UAE; A new university complex for Zayed University developed through Mubadala company at Abu Dhabi; Played major role being a project director and the main connection between the developer/designer and the university management.
• New Campus in Dubai, UAE; A new university complex had been constructed for Zayed university at the Academic City in Dubai. The design was chosen through a contest among 11 international consultants that were specialized in designing educational establishments and colleges.
• Zayed University Campus at the Knowledge Village, Dubai, UAE.
This building is to facilitate the development, dissemination and application of "cutting edge" electronic technology and it is constructed in a most prestigious and visible location.
