 Taking the Bill Of Quantities from the drawings, Identifying the material requirements for completing the job & proposing alternative materials if the proposed materials are not available.
 Find the potential supplier, sending enquiry & the collection of offers from the approved suppliers/subcontractors for material and services.
 Studying the material property of the material and comparing the material properties & quality with the project specification.
 Correspondences related to the price and negotiate with the suppliers to decide the quality and the price of the materials.
 Preparation of the price comparison statement and coordinate with the purchasing department, store & site for the on time delivery of the selected materials.
 Preparing the submittals for various materials complying with the specifications and requirements of the client.
 Preparing the maintenance & operating manuals.
