Psycho-social support and case management for the beneficiaries identified through home visits:

• recruited to closely coordinate with outreach team and refer older people to benefit from primary healthcare package and or one-on-one counselling with the psychologist.
• provide psycho-social support for at least 150 older people per location including a range of activities focusing on older person's emotional needs, relationships with families, discrimination and abuse, and relationships in the community.
• setting up a support group, providing one-to-one counselling or training, helping the local community to become more aware of the older people in their midst and the support they need, or helping family members to talk through their differences.

• Help parents, students, and school staffs identify needs that interfere with learning and work with students to get the services they need.
• Work with general and special education students and their families to resolve social, emotional and behavioral problems.
• Planning an individual plans for high risk cases (sexual abuse, violence) by use a series of steps or processes to help students to resolve their problems, these steps include building a relationship among the worker, the student, and the student’s environment (engagement), collecting information about the student (assessment), making sense out of the information (diagnosis), doing of the work that will enable the client and the practitioner to accomplish the goal decided upon in the assessment (intervention), determining whether the process has been helpful (evaluation), and referring cases to specialists if it necessary.
• We do this through assessment, consultation with school staff and community providers, through development and implementation of behavior management plans, and providing indirect and direct services. School Social Workers help to bridge school, home and community to help students be as successful as possible.
• We facilitate meetings, participate in assessments, communicate with parents/guardians, and serve as a resource to students, families and other school staff.
• Work with individual students and families to support good attendance.
• Meet one-on-one with individual students to work on any problems students may be having including peer relationships, behavior problems, problems in the community, at home or in school.
• Help students to develop social skills, coping strategies and to find positive solutions
• Facilitate various groups to address student needs. These include social skills, friendship skills, girls’ and boys’ groups.
• Help students and their families to find the resources they need including food, housing, medical, clothing, tutoring, substance abuse resources, counseling, domestic abuse support, and others.

• Assist Municipalities and RTO teams in identifying key social problems and specifying social needs as well as referring special social cases.
• Collect and analyze existing social data at the local and national levels.
• Develop a referral system for needy cases.
• Elaborate a social and protection scheme that should be adopted by the RTO and municipal focal persons.
• Raise the awareness of technical staff on social and protection issues
• Ensure that project activities address key identified social and protection problems.
• Ensure strong coordination with local and international social centers.
• Follow up with the RTOs on protection and social issues.
• Verify, through field visits that the identified recovery interventions are in line with social rights and protection of refugees and local community.
• Support in the documentation process of funded projects.
• Coordinate on continuous basis at field level with all stakeholders, including UOMs, Municipalities, RTOs, municipalities and UN agencies.
• Submit progress written monthly reports.
• Assist the project team in conducting training and awareness raising workshops for local beneficiaries as needed
• Provide support in training and awareness/capacity building of local authorities and stakeholders in protection and social issues etc.
