Regarding Lifestyle - maximize the Sales and the profitability of the Business, P&L, Budgeting, Pricing, Stock Management, To liaise with the Buying and Merchandising teams regarding the supply of stock in the Area to
maximize stock potential, new store opening, Staff Management, Setting & Implementing Retail Standards, Marketing, Managing Cost & Expenses, Customer Service Management and Staff development, Competition Mapping & Monitoring, Business Development and Leadership & Management.
Regarding beauty bay - over viewing of local buying for Beauty Bay, Supplier management, planning for new launches for perfume, cosmetics, skin care. Concept suggested promotion along with suppliers. Recruitment,
Staff training & development, marketing activity such as ATL, BTL, social media to promote the brand and promotional activity.

Job Profile:
Financial Planning and Management
1. To work with the Category/Trading manager to develop departmental financial plans which take into account market risks and opportunities and fashion trends within the overall corporate budget process.
2. To work with the CM to produce accurate departmental financial projections which reflect current trading conditions and to develop contingency plans that will ensure that the departmental net margin plan can be achieved.
3. To accurately phase sales, stock, margin, markdown and intake plans and projections for the department by week, taking into account new store openings and prevailing market trends.
4. Through pro-active trading to take balanced risks and opportunities that will maximize profitability and lead to net margin projections being exceeded.
5. To ensure that the departmental stock and markdown plans are achieved while maintaining a balanced mix of product at all times, and to effectively execute the agreed exit policy.
Assortment Planning
1. To determine the footage requirement for the department for each grade of stores so that the optimum range can displayed while delivering the planned returns per square foot
2. To work with the buyer to construct ranges within the scope of the group product strategy.
3. To plan each option to reflect its true potential sales, taking into account historical performance and future trends, and to structure the buy to deliver the required level of profitability at minimum risk.
Supplier Management
1. To develop genuine and sustainable partnerships with the department’s chosen suppliers.
2. Together with the buyer and QA to ensure each supplier performs to agreed company standards, imposing penalties where appropriate.
3. Together with QA and Buying to conduct the annual review of supplier performance.
4. Together with marketing to liase with the supply base in relation to promotional opportunities.
