Subcontractors Supervising-
• Identifying suitable subcontractors for respective scope of work & propose subcontractors for the project.
• Provides technical assistance to architects, contractors and other private industry personnel in interpreting and complying with fire codes /standards & recommend changes.
• Review’s construction site plans and building plans for compliance with fire protection codes and standards. Evaluates the fire resistance of building and structures & determines whether delivery systems are adequate to protect buildings.
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes; works cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
• Evaluates contractors’ performance in meeting agency requirements and objectives, interprets existing standards, develops new standards, reviews design documentation, and advises agency and contractor management regarding fire safety, property protection and public safety.
• Provides technical advice to contractors, architects and engineers while reviewing system plans, monitoring code information, and conducting site inspections for new projects.
• Receiving BOQ/BOM from Projects & Checking BOQ/BOM with specification given from projects.
• Responsibilities of Fully Computerized ERP Procurement and online Purchase Order based on Focus Software. Material Procurement Receipts, Physical Inspection, Stacking, Maintaining Minimum & Maximum Level of Critical & Fast-Moving Items, Maintaining All Procurement Documents.
• Reconciliation vendor Statement, Stock Verification, Analysis of Vendor Performance & Price Variance.
• Purchase related responsibilities - New Vendor Development, Price Negotiation with vendor, PO releasing, Material Delivery and Payment etc.
• Material Management, planning for daily consumable material for next one month, Billing status & Making the comparative statement.
• Ensure the quality & quantity of material purchase at site.
• Supervises professional-level staff of all departments, engaged in fire & safety duties.
• Conduct pre-operational risk assessments on sites and design risk mitigation measures.
• Review and analyse accidents and near miss incidents and make corrective action recommendations.
• Site handover duty - Snag List, Checklist, Warranty Documents, Testing & Commissioning reports collecting will be undertaken as a part of Client.
• Coordinating with Consultant, Contractors & Suppliers to reach the needs of Client/ Property Owner.
• Review & Inspecting BOQ with given specification and comply with QCS, NFPA/ local Civil defence requirements for the Firefighting system.
• Design of Firefighting/ fire alarm systems as per NFPA & local authority standards.
• Statistical analysis, process improvement, QC & Provide input to the Leadership Team on HSE matters. Intervene and stop work for unsafe acts or conditions as needed.
• Assisted in the development of procedures and processes which to ensure compliance with applicable standards requirements and identified best practices.
• Monitor performance of contractor’s site management personnel using the agreed KPI’s to ensure alignment with internal HSE standards & requirements (EMS & OHSAS).
• Supported in toolbox talks and JSA exercises with contractor workforce teams.
• Preparing weekly, monthly reports, conducting incident investigations and reporting including initial incident notification to management.
• Engaged in Contractor and Sub-contractor HSSE reviews and audits.
with management & subsidiaries on project scope and assessment to bid.
•Planning individual tasks for team members & executing.
•Review and complete the bid forms and ensure that they are within the given scope.
•Perform evaluation of bids and provide fiscal pricing, conceptualize the project and review all estimates before they are being submitted.
•Responsible for maintaining good, healthy, professional client relationships and providing leadership for continuously improving the process for estimating.
•Actively participate in the management of various tenders & attending pre and post bid meetings as required & closely monitor the results of the tenders.
•Thoroughly researches the previous data related to subcontracts and purchase orders, etc., compiles the relevant reports, and helps in the development of guidelines for future estimates.
•Responsible for reviewing, analysing, and recommending the subcontractors and vendors to engineering/ project department.
•Accumulating supplier quotes & updating price to gain knowledge on current market situation.
•Review draft/copy of Contract for Projects with Intension to be awarded & suggest possible corrections favouring the organisation.
•Evaluate officially received notices of variations & coordinating with design/project/ commercial department and ensure proper variation for the changes made at site.
