Roles and responsibilities
• Part of the Industry Research team of CRISIL's domestic research division. Handling 3 sectors in 'Textiles' and 'Gems and Jewellery' space.
• Responsible for providing short and long-term outlook on Demand, Supply, Price and Profitability for each sector along with the creation, maintenance & enhancement of forecasting models.
• Price forecast of commodities (e.g. cotton) falling under respective sectors.
• Writing a quarterly review and outlook on the revenue and profitability of the organized segment of the textile industry.
• Company risk grading reports for some of the important Textile companies.
• To understand the industry trends and to assess the impact of a policy change by interacting with important people in various companies, associations and government agencies.
