• Reporting to Branch Vice President and Projects Director
• Personnel handled 12-15ppl
• Manage all vessel tenders inclusive of operational and technical evaluation
• Ensure that all requests for hire of vessels are properly managed and disseminated to procurement, contracts build up, and budget management
• Vessels invoices review and approval
• Liaise with vessel owners and all other parties in order to guarantee the readiness of the vessels for the different projects
• Assigning proper inspectors, coordinating all vessels pre-qualification inspections and follow up for vessel’s preparation for required compliance
• Managing Project spread mobilization, demobilization, and interim maintenance
• Prepare & Submit full procedure for Provisional Acceptance of the vessels under Projects, tackling all technical aspects in term of vessel capability and approach methodology respective COMPANY Rules.
• All aspects of vessel shore support prior to mobilization: management, movement, operations, logistic services, including Key Personnel Evaluation and CV approval
• Technically participate in preparing all meetings for Rig Move Office (RMO); in terms of vessels composition and spread build up
• Coordinate with Port Captains to ensure that the chartered vessels obtain the necessary approval by relevant Authorities and COMPANY. Participate in and support Port Captains for IK Inspection for vessels ON- hire process under Projects
• Liaising with Rig Move Masters, if necessary, to ensure vessels smooth operations
• Manage all Vessels On- and Off-hire inspections / General Conditions Surveys / ROB Survey; address technical & Commercial Disputes
• Review vessels schedule and provide input to optimize utilization or potential clash
• Analyze vessel productivity, identify problems and implement solutions
• Liaise with project management of each project, through weekly meetings, in order to establish project planning arrangements and become familiar with the specific project requirements in terms of vessels spec’s and logistics
• Managing and Coordinating company spread on a daily basis
• Review procedures and develop improved methods, reports and drawings for Project department; in terms of safety, practicality, and productivity
• Incident and accident investigation. Implement corrective actions and lesson learnt
• Organizing HSE inspection for approval readiness, follow-up of HSE finding closeout for vessel preparation and readiness.
• Participating Risk Assessment and JSA workshop for inputs on vessels and marine activities

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Coordinating the assigned Engineering and Construction activities and provide technical and administrative guidance to ensure the execution is technically and economically sound.
•A part of a project or a bid or a study including the performance up to full issue of the documents or “Issued for Construction” relevant to the assigned tasks including reports, manuals and drawings and the preparation of relevant construction activities.
•Compile project documentation (engineering package and installation package)
•Drawing up specifications for construction of subcontracted elements.
•Monitoring and co-ordinating all phases of project progress.
•Involved in critical offshore tasks to ensure performance according to methodology and ensuring the relevant feed back.
•Working in coordination with Construction / Fabrication Engineers for Modules Fabrication, providing input to adjust design to suit Offshore installation & to ensure proper installation of Installation Aids,
Professionally Produced Shop Drawings for Platforms for EGDS CCIC Project (Jabel Ali platforms, Oman Border Platforms, Taweelah Platfrorms, & Maqta Platforms
Slab & Beam Reinforced Concrete design for DANET ABUDHABI Building; under the supervision of Licensed Canadian professionals
Responsible for -
•Mobilizing barge with the necessary equipment, consumables and project material prior to its departure to the field.
•Work planning and supervision of barge operations on 24-hrs basis to achieve milestones in accordance with installation procedures, engineering drawings and client specifications.
•Fully responsible for engineering work and control of project material onboard barges.
•Coordination between project team and operations as well as liaison with client representatives on all technical issues offshore

- Using Pipe Laying Barge - PLB-648, - Supervised Pipeline work.
•Project: Block 5 Field Development Plan 2005 - Maersk Oil Field (Qatar)
- DP vessel - Spools Fabrication; Pipe Lay Barge - supervising Pipeline work
•Project II: B & S-NH4 Well Platforms Heera & Bassien Oil Fields (India)
- Heavy Lift ship - HLS-2000 used Supervised Jacket work.
