Hired out of college as a trainee supervisor, subsequently progressing through various positions leading to a senior field supervisor over the course of my tenure.
Most of my career was spent in the Oman geo-market, working with Petroleum Development Oman and British Petroleum. Also, worked in Kuwait with the Kuwait Oil Company.
Nature of jobs working in Oman involved working as part of an Integrated Fracturing Services team, and as a standalone unit. Majority of jobs performed involved High Pressure, High Temperature gas wells in tight formations with severe to moderate H2S concentrations.
Jobs supervised and participated in included the following: Stimulation and Nitrogen Services, Matrix Acidizing, Jet Blaster, Fishing Services, CT Logging (MPLT), Zone Plug & Abandonment, Reverse Cleanout, Milling operation, Perforations (Abrasive Jet, RCT, PTC), Post Frac Cleanouts, CT & TCP Perforation (CIRP).
Responsible for organizing, overseeing, and performing coil tubing jobs. Concentration on Service delivery with flawless quality and zero HSE incidents. Reported directly to the Field Service Manager and Cell Leaders.
Exercised inventory control at a unit level of both consumables and equipment spares. Helped in reducing downtime and unnecessary costs by eliminating the need for hot shot trips.
Demonstrated a strong commitment towards HSE by encouraging fellow colleagues to report and more importantly practice safe working techniques.
Operation and maintenance of Hydra Rig and Consolidated Rig Works Coiled Tubing Equipment. Operated and maintained of N2 Equipment, Triplex fluid pump and Batch Mixer as a standalone Operator. Rebuilding of centrifugal pumps (4x5, 5x6; Gardner Denver) and triplex fluid ends.
Performed maintenance and rebuilding of treating iron and various flow control equipment (hammer valves, check valves, Chicksan’s). Maintenance and pressure testing of critical pressure control equipment (BOP’s and Stripper’s).
Previously held certifications from IWCF and IADC.
Developed a start-up business from one convenience store to include a fuel distribution facility, residential and commercial real estate holdings and a network of gasoline stations within a eight year period.
Distribution of branded fuel and lubricants to over 500 retail outlets, 5 government agencies and several commercial establishments, including NASCAR.
Annual revenue derived from the sale of fuel was between 150 to 175 Million USD (40 - 50 Million Gallons).
