Function as Project Engineer, responsible for Preparing SOW, Preparing Cost Estimate, Planning, Project Execution, Conducting Management of Change(MOC) team review meetings for improving the refinery on the basis of safety, Reliability and Cost. Reporting to Project Superintendent.
Develop, Execute, Control & Review project plans in accordance with quality & safety standards.
Managing fieldwork activities with the contractors.
Prepare BOM, cost estimate and technical analysis.
Review and analyze IFC engineering drawings(Isometrics, P&IDs, Piping arrangement etc.), specifications and materials for execution.
Issuing RFIs for material inspections.
Create and maintain documentation of all the project related activities.
Reviewing As-Built drawings as per red line drawings/site conditions for publishing. Organize MOC meeting for resolving problems for betterment and smooth functioning of the refinery. Suggest alternate solutions and challenge the ideas. Conducting site visit with Operations, Process, Maintenance departments for various project activities.
Conducting site visit with contractors for job explanation and clarifications. Reviewing MOS, schedule etc.
Supported Project Supervisor and Superintendent with submittals to increase productivity.
Issued request for tenders and requisitions, negotiated with third-party vendors and sub-contractors for price estimation and project schedule.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS :
Successfully completed Turnaround in March-2019 as Project Lead. Successfully completed project activities during 3 Shutdowns. Developing and updating MOC KPIs monthly for management. Closing all the punch list actions before closing the completed MOCs.

Coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering project
Review engineering deliverables including IFCs and As-Built drawings
Interacting with clients to interpret their needs and requirements
Monitoring for compliance to applicable codes, standards and best practices
Making technical presentations and demonstrating the technicalities of
the machineries.
