• Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company account is maintained.
• Assessing revenue opportunities and for company expansion and growth.
• Leading the team of 17 staffs and supporting them with financial accounting process and procedures to include not least payroll, asset management, inventory, GL and credit control.
• Month closing and preparation of financial statements periodically.
• Opening LC for Imports, Liaising with tax officers, government authorities and banks.
• Maintain and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies.
• Analyze and review GL accounts: Preparing a trail balance and reconciling entries.
• Variance analysis between budgets, estimates, and actual
• Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
• Monitor receivable accounts. review of customer aging and SOA
• Compliance various financial reports to the management; sales variance analysis; Price variance analysis of Raw materials; sales comparisons report, Sales men & Manager Commissions and commentaries; Stock comparisons; Intercompany reconciliation; Bank reconciliation, integrity reports and WIP reconciliation reports.
• Inventory analysis and Management
• Monitor intercompany transactions, allocations and reconciliation.
• Fixed Asset Management
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end closing of accounts
• Handling of supplier / Customer LCs and Verification of export documents
• Facilitate and complete the monthly close procedures, finalizing and analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
• Prepare management reports on KPIs
• Assist auditors and provide information in their interim & annual audit reviews
