• Worked for multiple clients in GSD (Global Services Delivery).
• Primary Job to proactively monitoring all servers, applications and services using
SCOM (System Center Operations Manager )to ensure high availability at all time.
•To develop scripts using Windows Powershell to automate routine tasks and
administration.
•Proactively perform random checks/troubleshoot faults and identify process
improvements.
•Administer and support the following core Microsoft technologies: Windows
Servers, Active Directory, ADFS, Exchange 2010/2013, WSUS, DNS and DHCP.
•Implementing performance tuning, availability monitoring and capacity monitoring
on the related Windows/VM server platform(Vmware).
• Using SCOM and PRTG as monitoring tools.
•Familiarisation to patching tools such as WSUS & SCCM.
• Deploy application packages and distribution of application through
collections/sites using SCCM.
•Manage and Administer Support for Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 and Anti-Virus
Software solution - Symantec Endpoint Protection
•Installing, commissioning, decommissioning, managing, supporting & performing
system administration of the VMware hardware and software environment part of
project assigned.
•Tesserent Managed Email Filtering - Spam tagging, White-lists and Blacklists and
Quarantine.
•Ability to perform System recovery, i.e. rebuild servers including hardware,
operating system software and data recovery due to a server failure.
•Provide 3rd level support and troubleshooting most complex issues in the
environment. Hands on experience in disaster recovery and high availability
environment
•ITIL - ServiceNow(SNOW) Ticketing Tool involving the areas of Incident
Management, Problem Management and Change Management.
• Also using Cherwell service management to handle service requests, incidents,
change requests etc.
• Integrating with Desktop, Service Desk to make the user queries, incidents, requests
are handled at correct SLA.
• Integrating with security and Network team to troubleshoot issues to provide
maximum uptime to services.
•Identity management using Microsoft Identity Manager MIM(FIM).
•Monitor AD object and File/Folder changes using ADAudit and FileAudit changes
through ManageEngine.
• Managing Unified communication - On premises Skype for Business 2015 and
troubleshooting issues that occurs in environment related to presence, IM,
delegation.
• Updating certificate in servers both machine and application certificates, using
internal CA and external CA.
• Good understanding of Dell Netvault backup. Configuring backup, schedules, sets
depending of VM, application needs.
• Creating asset reports on VM, devices, physical devices etc for the clients If
requested.
• Patching ESXi servers, VM's, on new updates and releases.
• Upgrading Dell Power edge blades.
