1. Working as Business Development in “ M/s CEVA Logistics Co. W.L.L from 2011 to till date and possess good experience with the following activities
Generate leads and meet new customers
Secure new business, identify & develop new services
Prepare sales plans and reports
Conduct customer presentations and detail sales proposals
Constant communication with new customers, customer support and the freight management departments all relevant company policies and departmental expectations.
Manage and organize work efforts by prospecting, developing and closing new business in conjunction with local management.
Achieve sales goals through hands-on market planning, personal sales execution and development of business relationships with key customers, new business and retention.
Maintain constant familiarization of product offerings and developments.
Execute / manage day to day enquiries/operations of import and export for air and ocean freight.
Lead preparation, submission, tracking and closing of quotations and follow-ups on payments.
Enhancing and building solid long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Negotiated cheaper rates with all service providers and major overseas partners.
Coordination with the customs broker.
Liaise and coordinate with internal departments to fulfill clients’ needs.
Research and maintain current Information regarding top customers and their requirements.
Maintain relationships with operational management and staff to ensure ongoing customer service and support
Communicate business plan as required to the Sales Manager
2. Working as Sales Executive in “M/s GULF AGENCY CO. QATAR from April 2006 to Feb 2011.
New business development to secure new clients in various sectors / industries.
Prepare quotations and follow up with enquires to convert into sales revenue
Negotiate profitable deals with airlines, shipping lines and overseas agents on a regular basis
Liaise with overseas organisations and with internal departments
Achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer service
Supporting the Air and Sea Freight Import operations function with the preparation of all documents for the customs clearance department
Dealing directly with airlines, shipping lines and agents, customers, transport companies and other service providers
