Leading a team of 100 employees and managing the overall operations activities and maintenance of the water utilities networks; reporting to the Project Director
Establishing and implementing strategic systems, tools and processes to accomplish set objectives and maximize people’s performance in line with the company’s quality standards, policies and regulations
Troubleshooting and driving breakdown maintenance and strategic planning for preventive maintenance of various units
Monitoring & ensuring smooth operations of plant within the specified operational parameters; identifying scope for planning, implementing & monitoring technological changes to enhance productivity
Directing maintenance activities, troubleshooting problems and driving manpower & material planning; analysing maintenance systems of key equipment to improve the availability/ reliability of the systems
Managing all preventive maintenance work orders generated by SAP for the utilities network and ensuring proper completion of the same as per schedule
Identifying the scope of works according to contract and settling all disputed issues related to the same
Managing all incident tickets issued by the client pertaining to networks (potable, sewer, chilled, irrigation and storm water) and resolving these tickets promptly and in the right way as per applied SLA
Developing & mentoring the team’s performance to ensure efficiency in operations; interacting with team members to ensure smooth progress of project work
Undertaking regular inspections to prevent accidents and adhering to safety norms; planning and formulating maintenance plans for machines & equipment
Formulating operating budgets, inspection plans, shutdown jobs preparation & execution, breakdown analysis & action plans and annual maintenance plans
Working towards cost/ time cycle reduction, improvement of process variables and process conditions
Perform condition assessment for all assets within all types of water networks and prepare reliability reports for the critical assets based on measuring actual parameters
Performing condition assessment for the sewer collection system using CCTV equipment and report locations which requires remedy actions
Organized plans for rehabilitation of all treatment processes such as screens, grit removal, belt presses, pump stations, generators etc.
•Setup and Implemented preventive maintenance planning system for the whole plant to insure efficient maintenance of all the plant equipments.
•Organized and supervised the employees in the maintenance department and distributed the work load according to plans and priorities.
•Helped and coordinated with stores department to keep the right stock of all spare parts for each equipment.
•Contacted suppliers and contractors required for special jobs and followed up their work.
•Selected equipments for use in wastewater processing to make sure compliance with government standards.
•Provided technical direction or supervision to junior engineers, engineering or computer-aided design CAD technicians, or other technical personnel.

•Initiated a massive plan for the repair and Overhaul of several equipments which were lying out of service for a long period.
•Established service contracts with several suppliers, for the servicing of plant machineries.
Leading a team of 10 employees with the responsibility of managing the activities of the maintenance department in the capacity of maintenance planning supervisor.
•Supervised the mechanical maintenance work in the plant and assisted the maintenance technicians of the plant.
•Responsible for contacting vendors and suppliers for the purchase of spare parts required for maintenance.
•Implemented the maintenance management computerized system (CMMS) in the company including scheduling for preventive & predictive maintenance tasks and the required parts to carry out it,
•Effectively used the software to control and record maintenance activity, preventive & corrective work order and scheduling work order according to manpower.
•Controlled the stock level of spare parts to avoid/minimize delays/shutdown due to parts shortage.
