Collaborate with developers and functional consultants to ensure proper testing coverage. Streamline operations by analyzing workflows and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems to enhance system performance. Work with internal and external stakeholders to quickly and efficiently resolve quality issues, maintaining high standards. Execute comprehensive test plans, including functional, system, stress, scalability, and reliability testing.
• Develop test cases and scripts based on functional requirements and system specifications. Collaborate closely with development engineers to reproduce and verify defects found during testing. Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and verifying patch releases. Adapt to diverse and dynamic environments, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Support the QA Lead in overseeing testing vendors. Perform functional and non-functional testing on mobile applications, including front-end and API testing.
• Review test vendor outputs to ensure correctness and quality. Attend planning meetings and contribute to requirements analysis and architectural discussions. Collaborate with internal and external teams for issue resolution and managing dependencies. Utilize tools like Jira, Confluence, and X-ray for tracking and reporting of deliverables. Support backlog management, prioritization, and release planning. Lead stakeholder meetings to gather business requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment of expectations. Work with third-party vendors and demonstrate strong relationship management skills. Demonstrate strong leadership traits, negotiation skills, and influence in aligning business with IT technology strategy. Set clear acceptance criteria for user stories to ensure successful testing and validation, meeting stakeholder expectations.
Technical:
Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and methodologies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. It includes defining test plans, test cases, and test scripts, as well as conducting risk assessments. Conduct thorough testing of software applications, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Document and report test results, defects, and metrics to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of software quality status. Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality assurance practices into the software development lifecycle. Implement continuous integration and deployment processes to facilitate faster and more reliable software releases. Provide technical leadership to a team of quality engineers, guiding them in test planning, execution, and automation efforts. Mentor junior team members, conduct training sessions, and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders, to align quality goals and requirements. Clearly communicate technical concepts and quality-related issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Lead the development of QA test strategies, test plans, and quality assurance standards. Collaborate with on-site and offshore QA engineers, developers, and project/product management teams to execute comprehensive quality assurance testing for software products and services. Foster a collaborative environment to create QA artifacts and ensure effective cross-functional teamwork.
