• Responsible for the projects of Health, Home, PA and Core changes from end-to-end for Retail Offering, Sales & Distribution and Healthcare.
• Ensure IT projects are executed as per PM plans, charter, and compliance with regulatory standards & current legislation by proactively enforcing company’s policy/procedures
• Manage resource availability, allocating a team of technical specialists, identifying & meeting their training and development needs and motivating them towards the achievement of challenging business objectives
• Creation and execution of project work plans, translation of the detailed business requirements into functional specifications to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Mainly focus on WebMed projects and integration between WM and CIRIS (Core Insurance Solution).
• Work closely with the business users to understand their needs and assist them in prioritization and phasing of requirements.
• Maintain strong relationship with vendors and ensures they deliver as per plan and requirements.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Ensure common understanding, quality of deliverables and compliance with business requirements.
• Constantly provide feedback report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
• Custodian for the overall success of the project as well as the delivery of result.
• Implement PM methodology during projects’ initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closing
• Coordinate and lead the team in developing Project Management Plans, identifying requirements, creating WBS, defining activities, estimating, costing, and scheduling
• Ensure IT projects are executed as per PM plans, charter, and compliance with regulatory standards & current legislation by proactively enforcing company’s policy/procedures
• Prepare timely fashioned reports using Earned Value Analysis, and provide status reports, forecasting & presentations to the senior management and key stakeholders accordingly
• Proactively identify problems and recommend the corrective actions to bring back the project in-control and schedule.
• Manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks and devise contingency plans
• Recommend the use of new IT best practices, technologies, standards and procedures
• Develop IT requirements management plan, specifications, flowcharts, UML models, and prototypes. Perform workflow & process analysis, modeling, documentation, and design reviews
• Implement IT quality management plan. Establish acceptance criteria for requirements. Create quality metrics and checklist. Assure QA environment, test data, review design documentation, and system architecture
• Administer software QA testing. Execute UAT, functional and regression testing. Write test plans and execute test cases. Ensure defects are reported, tracked, and fixed
• Responsible for managing changes to or caused by projects, ensuring appropriate change management procedures are adhered to.
• Manage Incidents process of logging, categorization, prioritization, diagnosis, escalation and resolution. Manage problems by eliminating recurring incidents, analyzing root cause, creating workarounds and maintaining database
• Play an important role in decision-making process with direct impact on business operations, strategy development, client service, and staff motivation.
• Establish goals and deadlines; monitor performances and operations progress.
• In person interaction with the Client for system study, requirements gathering and analysis.
