Responsible for the daily operations of the Infrastructure Division and its team across all territories within the GCC region including management of the design and project delivery of infrastructure led projects, resourcing and project profitability. Providing support to the Infrastructure Director with the growth of the Infrastructure business.
• Management of approx. 50 design staff
• Project P&L responsibility feeding into Divisional P&L performance
• Identifying and leveraging key client relationships
• Engineering Deliverables
• Operational responsibility for the division (HR, IT, QA/QC etc.)

Project : Diyar Al Muharraq - Design and Supervision of Primary Infrastructure

Jennings O’Donovan are the appointed designer for the Primary Infrastructure (Transportation, Water, Sewage, TSE etc.) for the development and Supervision of the Phase 1 Build-out. Estimated Construction value of US$200m.
Responsibilities -
• Management of Project Staff
• Management of Sub-Consultants & Specialist Contractors
• Infrastructure Engineering Deliverables (Preliminary/Detailed Design, Traffic Studies, Environmental Studies etc.)
• Financial Control (Cashflow, Invoicing, Payments, Delay & Redirection of Services Claims etc.)
• Government Authority Consultation and Approvals
• Engineering Support and liaison with Master Planners
• Liaison with Project Management Consultant and Client’s Technical Interface Office

GTC299 Al Wukair RPS and Al Wakra RPS Upgrade
The construction of a large Water Pumping Station and 4No. Pre-Stressed Reservoirs, and the upgrade of another existing Water Pumping Station (MEP Value QAR45m).
Al Wukair RPS has a storage capacity of 36MIG (164k m3) and a pumping capacity of 425 l/s. It also provides 18 Tanker Filling Points for outlying areas.
Primary responsibilities include -
• All Project Management duties including engineering, staff supervision, procurement and ensuring on-time delivery of Shop Drawings, Technical Submittals etc.
• Financial & Commercial controls
• Engineering Control
• Approx. 9 site office staff
Mott MacDonald Ireland is a multi-national Engineering Consultancy providing Design and Project Management services to various Municipal/Government clients.
Primary responsibilities included -
• Project Manager on small to medium scale projects including new-builds and retro-fits (approx. €1-5m)
• Senior Project Engineer on large scale contracts (approx. €45m)
• Design of Pumping Stations, Water Schemes, Lamallae Plate Systems
• Project Management of various sized M&E Contracts
• Project Management of minor Civil Works Contracts
• Commissioning and Handover of Treatment Plants and Pumping Stations
• Financial Control of Projects
• Assistance in 2No. Conciliation's and 1No. Arbitration
• Engineering Control
