Co-ordinate the transportation and storage of perishable goods.
• Implement policies such as FIFO and other procedures relating to cold store activities.
• Adhere to legal regulatory requirements of food and health safety.
• Facilitate the shipping and/or receiving of products to and from the cold store.
• Create daily delivery schedule.
Stock Control
• Updating the Accounts, Finance, and Sales Department with daily, and monthly inventory.
• Daily quality control and stock taking of goods in the company database.
• Arrange spoilage, damages, near expiry, non-moving stock report.
• Receive and quality inspecting all goods from both import shipment and local market.
• Generate and review all Discharge Report prepared by night shift.
• Organize storage space in the cold store.
• Daily monitoring of room temperature.
Provide and maintain good customer service and solve problems.
• Ensure that customers are highly regarded and receive exceptional service throughout the flow of order process.
• Highlights all concerns regarding with the quality and client deadlines.
• Resolve any customer issues with storage at the cold store.
• Document and escalate any customer service issues and/or shipping/receiving errors to the Operations Manager.
• Supervise the cold store worker to ensure customer requirements are met.
Regulatory & Compliance.
• Adhere to shipping/receiving and regulatory-compliance procedure.
• Implement Good Hygiene Practice (GHP) System.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and standards.
• Record shipment data such as expiry, spoilage, and damages.

Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods.
•Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality.
•Packaging and labelling products before they are dispatched.
•Supervising the work of junior staff.
•Ensuring a clean and safe storage room for staff to work in.
•Monitoring stock levels and accurately updating all data into computer and manual recording systems.
