From September 2022, I moved from Project Manager for HILTI Middle East to Senior Project Manager for HILTI Asia, taking care of the planning, development and site installation of all off-shore and on-shore projects HILTI and OGLAEND

During the first year at HILTI Middle East, my task was to organize the technical office with the scope to create a PMO Team that during the development of a project bear in mind the ultimate use of the drawings at the site.
o Organize the internal resources of the HILTI PMO, covering all the design areas required by our products / clients o Develop the internal organizational and quality procedures o Develop a procedure for the DWGs numbering and revision o Develop a procedure for the transmittal of DWGs and all the project documentation to customers and subcontractors o Organize training courses for the installation of our products at the site for the customer and subcontractor o Assist the customer at the site during all the installation phases o Create groups within our organization to install products at HILTI Training facilities: the purpose of these training days is to transfer the experience of the site installation to those who develop the projects. This experience will change the way we develop the design and the developed designs will become easier to understand during site installation o Coordination of the work of a plurality of resources who possess the necessary technical skills o Develop the project in detail, identifying all the resources necessary for its development and highlighting the costs necessary for its development o Organization of the work of the team to organize the various orders and make the work proceed as quickly as possible containing the costs o Keep time, costs and quality of work in balance o Site training and site assistance during the installation phases
o Oversee the costing, design, development o Work with internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure their flawless execution and certify that each installation is delivered on time, within scope and within the budget given o Gain in depth understanding of the design parameters feasible within the HILTI Training facilities to enable inclusion of cutting-edge digital content, interpretational tools and the exploration of other innovative elements to guarantee an original visitor journey o Reviews CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, fit out documents, and boards o Coordinate with the relevant team on site and ensure adherence to Quality, Health and Safety regulations, compliance with applicable guidelines, standards, and other internal requirements o Monitor and supervise the project execution process on site to ensure completion of the job within specified timeframes, in an organized and effective manner, in accordance with the approved design and to ensure high quality standards o Support managing of project related contracts including budgets and timeline, cost tracking and ensuring all conditions in the contracts are met o Ability to take projects from concept to completion and an ability for problem solving o Excellent knowledge of all build aspects, including graphics, electrical, carpentry, audio visual, lighting, etc o Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction contracts, applicable municipality codes, scheduling and familiarity with materials, methods, and processes of construction o Manage a team of experts to complete quality work across various simultaneous projects o Detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time o Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives o Client experience background with knowledge pertaining to overall exhibition fit out tender strategy, preparation and/or process

Project description: upgrade of the power generation capacity at Zirku Island, oil and gas processing facilities in the Gulf The order, which covers engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), was awarded by Zakum Development Company (ZADCO) Abu Dhabi
ABB is responsible for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing of two gas turbine driven generators, step-up transformers, new high-voltage switchgear, power management system and associated facilities. The scope of work includes the delivery of a new substation to house Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). ABB will also provide waste heat recovery units to utilise exhaust gas from the new gas turbines for process heating and subsequently reducing CO2 emissions

• Engineering the design and development of light and heavy carpentry structures utilizing 3D and 2D drawings.
