Role objectives and responsibilities:
• Management of licensee base of soft-lines accounts.
• Identify new business and revenue opportunities.
• Conceive, pitch and negotiate deals.
• Define category and property strategy by age segment and retail channel.
• Build and manage day to day relationship with licensees and retailers.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of the fashion retail landscape and monitor retail sales
performance of key licensees and programs.
• Provide management support in the contract and accounting process.
• Build and track quarterly category forecasts.
• Develop and present annual plan for areas of accountability.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Creatives team to ensure licensing
strategies and objectives are being met.
• Liaise with retail business development and marketing teams to define
promotional and marketing plans
Role purposes and responsibilities:
• Negotiate, execute and manage license agreements to achieve revenue objectives.
• Identify new licensing opportunities to fill product voids
• Manage the licensee life-cycle from contract to product development and execution.
• Analyze sales trends by partner, category, channel of distribution and territory.
• Support in marketing and retail development strategies.
• Collaborate with internal departments as: marketing, sponsorship, retail development, legal and finance.
• Analyze retail and competitive landscape, with constant screening of marketplace trends.
Planning and coordination of fairs, exhibitions and b2b meetings; active search of information funding projects and draft submissions; draft and complete ongoing EBTC projects, reports and surveys; carry out regular activities of the Chamber as: translations, memberships, logistics, etc.
