• Organized and led regular fit-out site visit progress meetings with sub-contractors to monitor progress and read and understood relevant drawings/cutting lists relating to areas of works while assessing/advising management on buildability and product selection.

Achievements:

▪ Operationalized heavy-duty overhead routers, table saw’s mortising machines, and drum sanding
machines to establish a new product line of swivel and panel doors made using red gum, African
teak, and rosewood. This resulted in a 30% growth in revenue for the first quarter of 2021.
▪ Streamlined kitchen cabinetry manufacturing by utilizing an edge banding machine to provide a clean/consistent look and significantly reducing error rates/re-done work.
▪ Used lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the polyurethane foam manufacturing
process by recycling all wastage to create re-saleable by-products such as high-density rebonded foam as well as foam chips for cushioning.
