Achievements:
▪ Operationalized heavy-duty overhead routers, table saw’s mortising machines, and drum sanding
machines to establish a new product line of swivel and panel doors made using red gum, African
teak, and rosewood. This resulted in a 30% growth in revenue for the first quarter of 2021.
▪ Streamlined kitchen cabinetry manufacturing by utilizing an edge banding machine to provide a clean/consistent look and significantly reducing error rates/re-done work.
▪ Used lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the polyurethane foam manufacturing
process by recycling all wastage to create re-saleable by-products such as high-density rebonded foam as well as foam chips for cushioning.

• Supported production and project teams in all aspects of furniture production as well as fit-out and finishes, coordinated and liaised closely between clients, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
• Provided drive to the project program while ensuring that production employees and sub-contractors met the requirements for product quality as well as working in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
• Provided the Production Manager updated and detailed progress reports, as well as noting changes in scope/cost and attending to bottlenecks.

• QuickBooks ERP (advanced), computation and submission of tax returns and overseeing tax audits, report writing, cost-plus/activity-based costing for furniture products/fit-out project in addition to the compilation of company financial statements.

• Worked in Procurement department issuing inventory to end-users and receiving new inventory into stock, supplier, and inventory database maintenance, while ensuring compliance with HSE protection standards of OHSAS 18001/2007 and ISO 14001.

• Pragma On-Key, and Syspro ERP software (intermediate), drawing and reviewing SOP’s as well as managing all aspects of the mining supply chain (receiving, issuing, stock management, supplier relationships)
