As a Research Manager, my business responsibilities include achieving business targets, providing clients with customized research solutions based on their business needs, developing and maintain strategic relationship with key clients, training and development of the entire team of researchers while keeping an eye on long term strategic business objectives of the company
Role in the Organization:
• Develop business through effective proposals by understanding the business needs of the Client
• Understand Client business needs and design customized research execution plan
• Closely manage the whole research executions process to ensure quality of output at each stage
• Analyse research data to bring actionable recommendations to address Client business issues
• Act as Client contact point for all the research needs
• Maintain strong Client relation to build long-term strategic business associations
• Develop research solutions depending on the sector/industry requirements

Project Set-up:
• Understand Client requirements and design consulting framework
• Generate detailed project work plan and research methodology
• Prepare market research design and execution plan
• Develop data gathering mechanism (Primary and Secondary)
Project Execution:
• Preliminary market understanding through primary and secondary sources
• Plot the data requirement matrix (Primary and Secondary)
• Market research resource allocation
• Monitor and mentor the primary research team
• Conduct key stakeholder interviews
• Set-up milestones to ensure the project meet the desired timeline
Analysis and Reporting:
• Ensure a continuous quality control measures for the data gathered through various sources
• Size or estimate the market size through predetermined sizing methodology (Based on requirements)
• Analyze the data and develop a cross validation mechanism
• Generate the report (Syndicate or Customized based on requirement)
Project Management:
• Manage the client expectation right from the kick-off meeting till the closure of the study
• Act as a single point of contact for the client for any clarification
• Send timely progress update to the client
• Address client queries
• Manage the execution team
• Present the final report to the client
Business Development:
• Conduct meetings with prospective clients to understand their business issues in-depth
• Prepare business proposals understanding client requirements
