Qatar Solar Technologies (QSTEC) intends to build, own and operate a state of the art Poly silicon production plant, the raw material used to build solar cells. Initial construction will be for Phase 1 consisting of Train 1 & Train 2 with a total design capacity of 8000 MTPA of Product.
•Responsible for managing and directing the site teams which includes project & site engineers, foremen, sub-contractors etc. through the Construction & Installation (Execution & Control) phase.
•Responsible for ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality matters are properly managed on project and are under control
•Responsible for Monitoring and inspecting site activities, advising on engineering issues and to ensure the work is in accordance with drawings, specifications and contract documents.
•Preparing and issuing Site Instructions and Non Conformance reports to Contractor in case of any deviations
•Oversee QA/QC procedures and safety matters on the site, and ensure that regulations are adhered

•Review the daily work and preparation of engineers daily progress report, checking on site performance and guiding the supervisors on the proper execution of work.
• Completion of necessary documentation to verify the work performed.
•Attend weekly report, monthly and other progress meeting held at the site as required. Identify constraints and recommend corrective measures.
• Preparation and filling of daily, weekly and monthly report.
• Ensuring that all test reports are verified to meet the contract requirements.
• Responsible for administration of construction contract works and prompt exchange of correspondence, submittals and RFI between client and subcontractors.
• Address concerns and issues raised by client and consultants on quality matters and project schedules.
• Liaise with client and consultants on matters relevant to quality assurance/control.
• Assist the manager in developing and implementing the Project Quality Management System.
• Participating in client meeting and resolving client/engineering and management project issue.
•Ensure implementation of all QA/QC Procedures, QC Plans and Work Instructions.
•Verify correct materials are utilized for the works carried out.
•Advice Service Contract personnel in taking appropriate corrective & preventive action on NCR.
• Conducting various training program for the foreman, site engineer in order to provide the knowledge of the work activity as per the project requirement to get the good quality at site.
