1. Responsible for installation of Fire fighting system, sprinkler system, Preaction system, Foam system, Medium velocity water spray system, Fire pump sets, Fire safety equipment's & gas suppression system(IG55), FM-200 system
2. Ability to read shop drawings, MEP coordination drawings, builders work layout, RCPs, material submittals & ensure that all mechanical work is carried out based on all approved drawings and materials.
3. Prepare IR & MIR request for installation and materials/equipment respectively and conduct pressure test for getting consultant approval.
4. Prepare method statements in coordination with concerned engineer
5. Complete responsibility to decide on day to day work that needs to be carried out by subordinates including: scheduling of activities, assigning tasks to groups or individuals, supplying resources and dealing with operational issues and problems.
6. Prepare all MEP Checklist, pressure test certificate, hydrostatic certificate and air test certificate to ensure that all inspection is properly organized as per the QA/QC standards.
7. Solving coordination issues with HVAC duct, chilled water piping, drainage and water service, Electrical cables and trays etc. with concerned engineer's and supervisor
8. Preparing Monthly Bill and getting it approved from the MEP Project Manager
9. Estimating Equipment Quantity from the Final Shop Drawing And Crosschecking its Make And Model from Proposed Project Schedule With Sales Order
10. Follow up on the material submittal approval with consultant and resubmit for the comments.
11. Executed Underground Ductile Iron work for Fire fighting hydrant system
12. Active involvement in weekly meeting with Project management, QC manager & Safety manager to resolve site related issues
13. Ability to Interpret Architectural, MEP Engineering Plans and Specification.
14. Maintaining of latest project specification, ITP's and drawings.
15. Prepare inspection request to all services in coordination of construction team and ensure all inspection reports are accurate and all attached documents are in current status.
16. Prepare material receiving inspections for material identification as per applicable code specification, PO copy and SOQ.
17. Reviewing and closing of NCR materials prior to assembly for scratches, cracks, damages, delaminating, crushing and weathering.
18. Ensure that all MEP equipment’s, materials and control parts used are calibrated and with valid certificates.
19. Release accepted materials to construction & follow up to return the rejected material to supplier for the replacement.
20. Participates in the testing and commissioning process at the end of the project, to ensure the quality of the work done.
21. Ensures the quality records, acceptance certificates, mechanical completion certificates and the documentation for specific systems and buildings/areas are prepared and collated in accordance with project requirements.
1. To conduct reefer monitoring duties at pre-determined intervals to ensure that all live reefer units are operating satisfactorily.
2. Monitoring the temperature of reefer containers at required interval using PDA, MDT and EMRCS System.
3. Maintain reefer plug points and software update.
4. Setting the temperature set point, CMH of containers according to the client requirements.
5. To perform Pre-trip Inspections to reefer containers to ensure they are in good order for delivery to clients. If error find in pre trip inspection then trouble shoot reefer containers.
6. Preparation of pre trip inspection report.
7. To perform data downloads and control setting adjustments as requested by the customer.
8. To perform checks on 3rd party client's clip-on generator sets and connects them to reefer containers for delivery to ensure that the reefer temperature is maintained during the journey to the customer
9. To perform structural repairs to containers to maintain the integrity.
10. To attend vessels in port to carry out emergency repairs to defective reefer containers.
11. To diagnose faults and defects on reefer equipment and deliver professional solutions to rectify them.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Review of key rooting map, piping packages (Isometrics and P&ID of piping spools) & Line Checking.
2. Maintaining of latest project specification, ITPs and drawings.
3. Monitoring welding activities as per approved WPS
4. Reviewing filler wires and consumables Batch or Test certificates (TC)
5. Review of calibration certificate of welding generators
6. Monitoring consumable storage, handling, packing and drying temperature as per project approved procedures.
7. Coordinating with client inspection department & TPI (IRS) at various stages of project activities and getting approval.
8. Preparation of Daily Progress Report.
9. Material receiving inspections for material identification as per applicable code specification, PO copy and SOQ.
10. To inspect joint fit-up of each joint and making fit-up inspection reports.
11. Inspection of Flange Orientation.
12. Inspection for pipe erection in as per Isometric drawings
13. Planning of NDT activities and review of reports.
14. Interpretation of radiography film and PT as per ASME Sect V
15. To witness hydro test of piping spools.
16. Inspection of Pipe & Pipe Fabrication for MITRE bends
17. Inspection of DPT, DFT
18. Monitoring and controlling the welder/rigger/Pipe fitter
19. To monitor the cleaning of pipe by copper slag blasting and subsequent glass flake operations (by Kirloskar)
